Chapter 23

ALASKAS POV
I thought about how much Delilah had changed. Her eyes were now brown. Then we got home.
"Mom look what we did!"
Her hair was now brown, medium length, straight and had a caramel colour underneath.
"Where did you do this?!"
We went up top. I nearly fainted. Raph grabbed her arm and brought her to her room. I followed.
"We told you not to go up top!"
"Yeah until I was 12! I'm going to be 13 soon!"
"So why did you need to do this to your hair?!"
"Because it looks nice."
"Is it permeant?!"
"As permeant as me."
Raph kicked the dressed and I rubbed his arm.
"The hair isn't a big deal what is the big deal is why you went up top without us."
She rolled her eyes.
"We were in a group we were fine! I'm still alive aren't I?"
Raph then walked out and I sat her down.
"Why did you want to do this to your hair?"
"Well because one my eyes didn't match my blonde hair and this hair really suits me."
I nodded then sighed.
"Alright but you're grounded until your birthday."
I then left and shut her door.
DELILAH'S POV
"Great."
I muttered kicking my dresser. I lay on my bed and threw my turtle toy. All of a sudden Cameron, Carter and Alex snuck in. We all sat there passing notes quietly then watched tv in my room. I lay on my bed and Cameron lay next to me. Carter and Alex sat on the floor next to each other. We watched Criminal Minds. We then heard my dad coming. I quickly shoved Alex into a cupboard in my dresser then  shoved Carter in my laundry basket and Cameron had climbed into my closet. I then watched tv and he came in.
"Where's everybody?"
"I don't know I'm grounded remember?"
"Look-"
"Just get out."
I said and he got up and left. Everybody came out and we kept watching tv.
"Remember like 9 years ago on valentines day and we kissed?"
Cameron asked.
"Oh my god yeah."
I said laughing.
"Memories."
Carter said and we all began having a laughing fest.
"Hey you're all grounded!"
Auntie April said opening my door. She grabbed Alex then Alley came in and got Carter and Cameron. I groaned then went under my cover.

"Honey supper is ready."
"I'll eat when you're all sleeping."
I responded.
"Delilah..."
Dad said.
"Dad..."
I said mocking his tone.
"Listen here young lady this is for your own good. Now you're going to come eat with the rest of the family or you will be grounded longer!"
RAPHS POV
She groaned then I heard her get up. She sat down at the table and ate quietly. She began laughing and I looked over at Cameron. He was using the noodles like a moustache.
"Eat!"
I said and they both looked down and ate silently. Delilah then finished and left to her room. Alaska rubbed my arm then put her plate away. All of a sudden music began blasting from her room. I gripped my fork. Alaska went to Delilah's room. She came out and the music kept going.
"Oh that girl."
Alaska said sitting down.
"Thats it!"
I got up and Alaska grabbed my arm.
"Raph-"
I kept going and opened her door.
"Turn this off now!"
She turned it off and stared at me.
"If you think you're getting ungrounded for your birthday after this you have another thing coming! You are to stay in your room unless you have to shower, eat, go to the lab or go bathroom understood?!"
She sat there.
"Understood?!"
"Yeah..."
She said and looked down.
"Freak."
She muttered under her breath.
"Excuse me?"
I said and she looked up at me,
"You heard me! My mother is a normal person and you and your brothers are some ugly freaks! You have anger problems! You can't be a good father because every mistake I make you get angry or you get angry over stupid things! I don't care if you created me I don't love you, and you'll never be a father to me!"
I stared at her and she curled up to her knees.
"Just get out."
I left and Alaska stared at me. Everybody was staring at me. I left to our room and Alaska came in.
"Raph, she's just upset. She didn-"
"She's right. I can't be a father. I mean look at me and you."
"Now listen to me Raphael Hamato I didn't marry you because I was having your child I married you because you're as much as person as I am, you are a loveable man that I can't live without. You are a perfect father, all fathers have troubles raising children. Now ever since she came you've been gentle, sure you get mad but you love her and she knows that. She is just upset I think you both owe each other an apology."
I looked at her then got up. I kissed her then we both went to Delilah's room.
"Delilah, I'm sorry how I reacted I just don't want you to grow up and get all this attitude and like boys. I'm just trying to be as much of a father I can."
She hugged me.
"I'm sorry dad. I was just angry. You've been the best dad a kid could ask for. I'd never want anybody else even a human to be dad."
I hugged her tighter and she sighed.
"I guess I should tell my uncles sorry."
"Yes."
I responded and she left. She came back and we all went and watched a movie with the entire family.
"Am I still grounded?"
"Just until your birthday."
"Dang it!"
We all laughed and kept watching the movie.
