*Laya's P.O.V

I've never seen Bryan that upset, I never want to see him like that again. I'm not even sure why I'm here anymore. I just need some space, maybe if I just step outside and I'll forget about it. I made my way out the door, walking down the hallway I head a scream for help. When I rushed down the narrow hallway, I saw Bryan, attacking Cam. My heart started to speed up, as if it was about to rip through my chest and fall to the floor. All sorts of questions went running in my mind, like some sort of marathon. I quickly ran away, far from this place, far from the people, far from Bryan. "Where are you going?" A voice said as I rushed away, dropping my scarf. No time to grab that anymore. I turned my head to see who it was, Peter. All I could say was "I'm sorry."

I rushed out of the building, walking down, what it seemed to be millions of dirt streets. The billions of questions began to surface, I knew he was dangerous. But why would he do that? Maybe she deserved it? No, no one deserves that. Maybe everyone was right, maybe he wasn't the person he said he was. Although, he was so kind, and sweet. People can fake that Laya. True.. What am I suppose to do now? I don't know this town, and I don't even know where I'm suppose to stay now. I just want to stay away from Bryan, far away. Then I realized, the first day here Bryan said he owned a cabin somewhere in town. That was the whole reasoning of coming here, to stay hidden. With everything that was going on, he wouldn't go there. He had his father, mother, and now Cam's problems to worry about. I can just stay there for a few days, and then call my parents. My plan was set, find his cabin, and wait until everything dies down, then I will call my parents. Tears suddenly fell from my eyes, "what the hell is wrong with my life." I said hoping I could just disappear.

"Are you okay, miss?" A voice calls out to me, as I turned my head to see the figure. I could only half smile   and say, "I'm fine." All the figure could do was smirk, "I'm not stupid miss, I can tell when a lady's upset." I could tell by the voice, it was a male's. He walked closer to me, as I tried to wipe away the tears from my face. "Now, tell me again. Are you okay, miss?" I giggled, "I'll be fine." I studied him closely, he was about my age. His eyes were the most melting eyes I've seen since, well Bryan. Bryan.. As I started to think about the man who caused me to tear up, I wiped away more tears. "Now I know you're not okay. Come on, round 1 is on me." He smiled, truly smiled. You are not going to like this boy missy. You're in enough trouble. I knew that voice in my head was right, liking a boy is what got me into trouble to begin with. "Round 1?" I asked as I coughed away anymore tears. He stepped to me, the area between us was smaller, like we were inches from each other. He took his thumb gently erasing anymore tears from falling down my face. "Miss, you're too pretty to cry. Now my dad has this little place where he feeds people food, it's called a diner. Come with me?" Could today be anymore confusing? I think not. "I don't have any money to give you." I said looking into his eyes, something tells me I should just walk away, yet you have to give everyone a chance. "That's why I said round 1 on me, meaning I'll pay. Come on, you're coming with me." With that, he grabs my hand and pulls me along with him. He entangles our fingers together, and turns his head and smiles once more.

He's the only person I've met who doesn't know who I am in this town. His brown curls flopped around every time he'd walked. He was average height, but taller than me. He seemed to have muscles, since you could see he was just skinny, or overweight. He had an apron on, in it's pocket I could see he had earphones and some type of device. His apron was covered in buttons with little words, one caught my eye. It said "caution; musican in progress." Muscian huh? That's attractive. I laughed at myself, I was just crying over Bryan, and now this boy is attractive to me? Oh the things us girls have to put up with. "By the way, I'm Laya." I said, making sure he at least knew my name. "Oh I know, Bryan brought you here. Everyone in the town knows that, but it doesn't matter right? Because that's not your label, your label is Laya, new girl. Who is getting a cup of coffee, because it looks like you need one." He smiled at me. His smile makes me think, things are going to be okay. "Who doesn't lknow me in this town, gessh. News travels fast around here." I said masking how much this annoys me. "It's a small town, you get use to it sooner or later." We pasted by many small shops until we reached a place that said "come inside and get or get out." I laughed, and released my hand from his grasp. He opened the door, and held it open until I made my way inside. Southern charm, how cute.

I sat down in a booth as he disappeared from my sight. The place was a clastic remodel of an old-time diner theme. It was comfortable, beautiful, and welcoming. I drifted off into thought of what Bryan could be doing right now. I hate him, but i care about him. He's so caring, but his temper was too much for me. Maybe he is too much for me. I felt a hand set itself on my shoulder, i looked up hoping to see Bryan with a smile, yet I see the boy who brought me here. I faked a smile and he shook his head, handing me a cup of coffee. "You really don't know how to fake something do you?" He chuckled at me, sliding into the booth with me. "I'll work harder at it then," I said before taking a sip of my drink. He just sat there, resting his arms on the top of the booth, looking at me. I couldn't help but stare back. "Listen, I should be going soon. I have to find some place, it should be getting dark soonish." I said rambling on about how the sun goes down. He could only laugh at me, and then smiling, "It's almost 4 in the afternoon, I'm pretty sure the sun doesn't set until about 8ish." My cheeks redden with shame, as I looked down at the table. I saw a large hand come from across the table, "the names Luke." His voice was so calming, with a cute country accent as well. I looked up at him and saw him smirking, I looked again at his hand still across the table. I stretched out my hand and shook his, "nice to meet you Luke." We both smiled at each other.

We spent two hours laughing over little things one of us would bring up. We also had a mini food fight, until his dad got upset and made him clean it all up. He told me about how his parents decided they wanted to build a small diner and live in a small town. He also said how he knew Bryan, "we were close friends until he just turned into an utter asshole" those were the words he said, which kept me laughing for hour. "Okay, now Miss Laya, it's getting late. Allow me to walk you home?" He said standing up awaiting my answer. "Actually, if you could show me where Bryan's cabin is, it would help me mucho." "Mucho? Are you using Spanish on me?" We both giggled, "why yes I am." I rose from the booth and bowed down to him. I straightened up, and we both started laughing. "Will you two just leave already?! You're going to make all my customers get annoyed! Go on, leave!" His dad called from the kitchen, pointing a scapula at us. "I'll walk you over there, come on let's go." He took my hand and we walked off. On our way there, we messed with each other the whole time. Poking each other sides, throwing mini rocks at each other, and racing each other down the streets. Walking far distance, my legs were getting tired, "Luuuukkkkkkeeeeeeee" "yes?" he said looking at me confused. "Will you give me a piggy back ride? Pleeeaaseee?" "Are you serious?" He said laughing. How rude, I was tired and walking took so much engery. "yes.." I said in my sweetest tired voice. He gave me a you-are-lucky-i-like-you-face and said "fiiiinneee get on." "Yaaayy!" I called out and then climbed on his back. He walked the rest of the way, as I slowly drifted off into sleep.

When I woke up I was in a bed, with an arm wrapped around me. I looked around and noticed my clothes were on the floor. I quickly noticed this wasn't my shirt. I searched the room for Luke, he was laying down next to me, laughing. "Where are we?" He finished laughing and said "Bryan's cabin, of course" I looked around the room and noticing how depressing this place was. Remembering my clothes weren't on me anymore, i hit him on the bare arm. "You changed my clothes, you perv!" He started laughing even more, and then rubbed his arm, "ouch, that hurt thank you very much. And hey! You didn't look comfortable." I lifted a little bit of the shirt I was wearing, "well who's shirt is this?" I said freaking out. Wouldn't you be? A random guy you just met, decided he'll change your clothes for you. Strange people in this town these days. "It's mine." His laughter stopped, and he was staring at me. I was trapped in his stare, something about him, it trapped me. He sat up and came closer to me, no emotions from either of us. His eyes went from me to my lips. My heart started racing, I was starting to regret meeting this boy, when his lips crashed into mine. Closing my eyes I couldn't see anything, but I could feel his lips on mine. Both of us , moving our lips together, erasing all of my problems. Until the door to the cabin opened, and Bryan made his way inside.
