Riley's POV
As me and Auggie get to the apartment I walk in to see and smell beer and bottles everywhere
Cory:where have you been you guys are gonna get it for leaving!!!!!
He then takes off his belt and swings it at me many times he stopped and was about to hug Auggie before I ran in front of him!
Riley: Auggie go into the room and lock it don't come out until I say okay or when I let myself in my own way RUN!!
It really hurt I lost track of time but bruises started to appear as soon as I was done I ran up into my room,
Riley: Auggie open up it is me!!!
He quickly opens it up and let's me in and runs back to the bed,I pick him up and cradle him in my arms I could tel he was crying. I finally sat him down and he was asleep but I could not go to bed because I was on guard to make sure my dad was not gonna come in and hurt him I think my mom left or locked herself in the room
