We never notice other's suffering until it's too late
That's just people's unfortunate fate
But I did notice my friend start to fall
It hurt because she just put up a wall
"I'm fine," she'd say
This lie became constant, being repeated everyday
I wrote her poems telling her to stay strong
She'd just act clueless like I was wrong
But this is for everyone who been skipped
You're not broken maybe just chipped
That only makes you special, so don't be sad
Don't regret or get hung up on what you could've had
People are trying to help, maybe you just don't see
Or maybe you ignore them like my friend did to me
Take the step, give me your hand
I'll save you from drowning, lead you to land
