School was finally over. I met up with Serenity after school and we waited out front for Tyler. Which she didn’t enjoy too much. “Reign are we seriously going to wait for him? He takes forever.” She said. I gave her a dirty look, in which she ignored but instead nudged my arm and nodded her head towards a group of boys, with a smirk across her delicate features; I shrugged my shoulders a little, not understanding what she was trying to tell me. I then turned my eyes to the five boys and now understood what she trying to tell me. Yeah they were a good looking group of boys, but I have a boyfriend. Maybe Serenity can get with one of them, she’s single. “Yeah they’re cute, so what.” I said folding my arms across my chest and looking the other direction hoping she would change the subject and we could talk about something or anything that didn’t have to do with the group of boys that were goofing off and calling each other names, laughing. “Seriously?” Serenity asked. I looked at her again, “What? Your single not me.” I told her. “Uhm excuse me but how many times has Tyler cheated on you this past year, don’t let him have all the fun.” She pointed out to me. “I’m not a cheater.” I said defensively. She huffed as I looked at the crazy rambunctious group of boys. I noticed one in particular staring in my direction; he had a streak of blue in his dark brown hair and what seemed to me to be really pretty hazel eyes, I think I’ve seen him in the halls before. He stopped laughing as the rest of his friends kept on and he smirked at me. I smiled back, what was I suppose to do I didn’t want to come rude. Serenity looked at me and smiled,”Ooo I saw that, you making googly eyes at that cutie.” She pointed out. “All I did was smile; I don’t want to be rude.” I said. She laughed, “Whatever, he’s cute.” She stated. He was cute and so were the rest of the boys. One of the boys in which almost looked identical to him, assuming he had a twin brother noticed and started teasing him and whispered something in his ear. After telling him his brother had a mischievous grin on his face as the blue haired boy shook his head repeatedly in a no way still with a smile on his face.
Lukes POV
“No dude, I’m not going up to her.” I told Jai shaking my head laughing. Jai kept that cheeky look on his face. “Come on, she’s looking at you and I saw you looking at her.” He explained. “Sooo doesn’t mean she likes me, plus I’m pretty sure she has a boyfriend.” I told Jai trying to change the subject. “Oh yeah isn’t she dating that dick Tyler?” Beau butted in. I shrugged as the rest of the boys joined in the conversation that was once just me and Jais. “Yeah I saw them walking around the school holding hands.” James stated. I looked down taking my snapback off a little, flattening my hair and putting it back on my head.”Luke, go talk to her, there’s no harm in talking to someone.” Daniel said. He had a point, ”Fine I’ll go say hi.” I said finally caving in. All the boys smiled and I laughed nervously as I made my way over to where she and her friend were standing.
Reigns POV
Oh my god, is he? Oh god he is. Why is he walking over here? What’s he going to say? I’m going to make myself look like a total idiot like I always do. Serenity got a big smile on her face, like I knew she would. He finally walked over to us and stood in front of me and smiled a friendly smile, “I, I’m Luke.” He said waving at the both of us. Serenity and I both waved with smiles,” I’m Serenity and I just realized, I-I have to go to the bathroom, Uhm I’ll be right back.” She said. Ugh she was doing this on purpose; suddenly she has to use the bathroom when he comes up to us, please. She walked away. I was left standing in front of Luke. I smiled at him and giggled a little,”I’m Pablo.” I said jokingly. He laughed with me. “Hi Pablo.” He joked back. “I’m just kidding, my names Reign...Even though in a way I’d prefer the name Pablo.” I said still smiling and surprised that I wasn’t totally freaking out because a total hottie was talking to me, he made me feel comfortable, it was the vibe he was sending and I liked it. He laughed again,”Why Pablo? Your names cool as hell. I love Rain.” He said. I smiled, “Thanks I don’t know Pablos just a funny name to me.” I said we both giggled. “No offense but what made you come over here?” I asked him. We both sat on the stairs together as we talked. “Oh my brothers and my friends dared me to come over here, their cunts.” He said looking down. I laughed, “Which ones are your brothers?” I asked. He looked at the group, “Take a guess.” He said as if one of them wasn’t a freebie right away. “Well obviously the one that looks like you is your twin correct?” I asked. He laughed, “No, well you see I was doing this science experiment…” I laughed a little before pushing him a little. I felt so close to him already, feeling as though I was talking to one of my best friends. He laughed and looked at me,”Yeah that’s my twin bro Jai, I’m older than him.” He made sure to state. “ONLY BY A FEW MINUTES FUCKER!” Jai yelled. I bursted into laughter. “Shut up ya cunt.” Luke yelled. I love these guys already. “Now guess which ones my other brother.” He looked at me smirking. “Uhmmmm, that one.” I said pointing to the one with light brown hair and somewhat green eyes. His mouth and eyes got big, “Wow, you’re really good at this.” He laughed, I giggled. “Years of practice, plus you guys look related.” I boasted, he slightly giggled. “Yeah that’s Beau, Jais my twin, that’s James and that’s Daniel.” He said pointing to each one. I nodded my head, “Cool.” I said smiling.”Your friend sure does take her time.” He said pointing up the stairs behind him smiling. I laughed, “She probably left me.” I said. He laughed as if he was use to it too. Beau ran over to us smiling a dorky smile. And sat in between us on the stairs and looked at me, Luke looked annoyed at looked the other direction and sat up a little bit. Beau smiled at me and I did in return,”Hey, so your friend, is she single?” Beau asked right away. I laughed,”Yeah she is, give me your phone and I’ll put the number in.” I told him. He smiled bigger than before and I heard Luke laugh. Beau handed me his phone and I put her number in for him, he watched, I attempted to give him his phone back but he pushed it back to me, “Put your number in there too, what if I need advice or something?” He laughed. I laughed, “Okay.” I typed my number in and saved it. “Here you go.” He took his phone back still smiling. “Thanks.” He said. Before I said you’re welcome Luke pushed him a little playfully,” Now go sext her or something, slut.” We all laughed and the group came over and we talked for what seemed to be two hours. I totally forgot I was waiting for Tyler until he came up behind me on the stairs and tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and the rest of the boys looked at him when I did so we all stopped talking and looked at Tyler’s disappointed yet frustrated look. Luke still sat close to me and began to look down, because he didn’t want any trouble and neither did any of the other boys. I stood up off the stair and faced Tyler. He now looked confused, “What’s going on?” He asked. “I could ask you the same thing; I’ve been waiting literally 2 hours for you out here, Tyler.” I said more frustrated than ever. He dropped his hands down to his sides and rolled his eyes, “I think your exaggerating a bit.” He stated. “Im not exaggerating at all, I’ve been here since school let out which was two hours ago. What could you have possibly been doing for two hours Tyler? Seriously.” I said looking up at him waiting for an answer. He shrugged,”Uhh, Umm C-C la I-I had to do M-Make up work.” He stuttered. “Why do you care so much it seems like you were having fun talking to these five gay faggots anyways?” He said looking at the group of boys and putting his arms up. They all tried not to laugh at the stupid insult. “Thank you, thank you for verifying that we’re GAY.” Luke said standing up and putting the word gay in quotes with his fingers,”faggots, because we could have been any other type of faggot, but no were GAY ones, we would have never known.” He finished laughing along with the other boys. I giggled a little, I couldn’t help it, it was pretty funny and Tyler’s insult was really dumb. He looked at me,”Im out of here, you can walk home.” Tyler said in all seriousness, as he pushed past me and walked through the parking lot. “Whatever.” I yelled as he kept walking, he turn around,”Yeah, have one of these faggots drive you home, cause they’re so much better than me obviously.” He yelled back. I shook my head angrily as he drove off. I turned to the boys who were all now standing up, speechless. “My step dads probably busy , cause I told him I had a ride, and my mom’s at work, Fuck.” I complained. “Well you heard him the five faggots should drive you home, so we have to now right?” Daniel said laughing, we all laughed, “But seriously we have a car, we’ll drive you home.” James said, “I’ll drive!” I followed the five boys as they walked to their car. James getting in the driver seat, Beau in the passenger, Daniel and Jai in the second row and Luke and I in the back. The car started and we were finally out of the parking lot and on the road. I looked at Luke and he smiled at me as the window behind him became blurry with scenery. I smiled back. “You okay?” He asked. Jai and Daniel turned around to look at me. “Yeah, I’m fine he does this to me a lot.” I stated looking out my window. “What kind of boyfriend does that?” Jai asked. “Yeah it’s fucked up.” Daniel added in. I shrugged. Luke stayed silent and humble about the whole situation, it only seemed like he cared about if I was okay and that’s all the mattered to him and I appreciated it. I could tell they were all annoyed by what had happened and that Tyler was being a dick. “What’s your address?!” James screamed from the front. “320 Jackson Road!” I screamed back. “Wow you live pretty close to us our neighborhoods a few blocks away.” Luke said smiling happily. I smiled back, “Cool we should hangout again, all of us.” I said. I grabbed Luke’s phone out of his hand and put my number in before exiting the car, “Thanks guys, I appreciate it!” I said waving, they all waved, saying”Cya later!” With smiles on their faces. I walked up to my door and unlocked it with my key, before entering my house; I waved again as their car drove off.
