Lisa pov
I can't believe I told Peggy, Stacey, and Troy what Malik did to me now the only thing I'm worried about is he going to kill me. Because I'm sure he done went up to my room and have realize I done ran away I know I'm in deep trouble from running away and I can't even imagine what he is going to do to me if he finds me. My mom is to much stuck on the stuff I'm sure she is happy that I'm gone cuz she only yells at me and say she wish I was never even born. The things that my mom and step dad put me through is a shame Im smiling on the outside and crying and hurting in the inside.

I'm fixing to head over by my homeboy Malik house and drink a couple of beers with him and watch the football game with him since I haven't chilled with him in a while. I pulled up in Malik driveway and got out the truck and walk up to the front door and knocked. He open the door and I dapped him up then we went in the living room and sat down.

"Aye man do u want a beer." He said

"Sure man get me one."

"Ight"

He got up and went to get the beers then I was just layed back on the couch watching the game then he came back in with the beers.

"Here you go bruh." He said

"Ight man thank you"

"Welcome, so man what u been up to"

"Nun much just been working and I haven't had no time off so that's why I decided to come by and hang with u today on my day off"

"That's wassup"

Yep we was just watching the game and having us a little conversation.

Debra pov
I'm in the room watching tv just finished smoking me a blunt. I love getting high I'm happy that Lisa is gone cuz the only thing she try to make me do is stop doing drugs. I get mad at her when she tell me to stop but the truth is I know she be telling me the truth but I'm to addicted to it to stop. I'm fixing to go in the the kitchen and get me something to snack on if we have anything anyways. I went walking to the kitchen and looked in the refrigerator and wasn't shit in there. "Damn." I'm fixing to ask Malik to run to the store for me he gone get smart with me for asking him but who give a fuck. I went walking in the living room and seen another man in there too he was looking down so I couldn't see his face.

"Malik may u go to the store for me and get me a snack."

"Damn man. Yea I'll go for your ugly ass."

"Shut up Malik."

"Hey man come ride with me to the store." He said to the guy

"Ok." The guy said

When he got up off the couch I looked at him and realize it was Bryant.

"Bryant I called out"

"Debra." He said

"How do y'all know each other." Malik said

"That's my baby daddy."
