I decided I couldn't let this delay me from doing what I needed to do so I just went with my plan. That was also one of Mike's rules to being "cool" in high school. I really do not understand why I bought that book, sorry right back to the story. So everyone was ready to see who would make the biggest impression . Everyone took their turns. They seemed so calm and collected, however, I felt that my stomach was going to explode into my throat.

It was turn to take stab at the task. I felt confident as I stepped up to the podium and looked out to the crowd. I felt thousands of eyes looking at me. I could feel beads of sweat running down my forehead as I stood. I could hear snickers in the crowd . I then said actual words I think:

" Uh Um .....Well", then all went black.

The next thing I knew I was waking up in the nurse's office with a massive headache. My parents David and Susan James were staring at me. As normal my Mom was frantic and over reacting . My dad was a little more understanding of the situation.

"Honey, are you okay you don't look well. Do you need anything." Mom said frantically.

"No , I am find but what happen", I asked curiously.

"Well buddy", my dad started, "you passed out at the beginning of your speech. You muttered a few things and blacked out."

I was so embarrassed that I wanted to cry but this wasn't becoming of a high leader who was looking to make a big impression.

So how was I to make a big impression

I felt so bad. I knew the only way to win is if by the act of God. You know what that would be great. If God would answer all my prayers it would be great.

However, that is also impossible well I need a miracle.
