.So everything about that moment seemed to move fast. We began for walk towards home again. Every thing was so quiet. We said few words to each other. What was there to really say?
I had to break the ice so I spoke first, " What do you think Ben." I was so afraid about the choice we had just made.
"Well, Solomon I think that guy may have been a little crazy. I did not believe a thing he just said." Ben said jokingly.
" Yeah man who would believe something so ridiculous", I replied still unable to hide my worry.
We continued home to our houses Ben went home first. I could not wrap my head around what had happened. Maybe Ben was right the guy was just crazy. I was over exaggerating.
I got in the house by a good time. My parents did not really care to much or did not even notice I had walked in an hour late. There was something else entirely different about the attitude and demeanor of mom and pop James. They were not as full of worry as they normally were.
"Solomon we have great news for the whole family. Sit down my good son", Dad said weirdly.
I knew something big had happened because I could smell alcohol on my dad's breath right away. They were celebrating something, but what.
"Solomon you know how we always say never to play the lottery", my mom started, " but your dad played and he prayed that he won and he did
We just won 450 million dollars."
My mom broke into tears. I had to seem like I was happy but all of this was very unnerving. I was aware of what was going on. This was a result of our decision-making skills. This made me feel better about what had happened. Now I realize the severity of the situation.
I don't know but all of this seemed like it was a warning of what there was to come. I still was unable to control my thoughts my mind was wondering. What really happened?
Only time would tell what would happen. It held the secret to what would happen to the world after our decision.
