I'm Falling

 So I woke up feeling good as hell, I forgot about De'Shun and his bullshit. I had to remember that last night I didn't use a condom, but that's fine because I'm on birth control anyways. I started smelling food and Chresanto walked in my room with a bed tray with breakfast on it. That put a smile on my face because everyone knows that De'Shun would NEVER cook breakfast for me.

 ”Good morning Beautiful, how'd you sleep?" He asked me with a smile. I just looked at how sexy he was looking with his shirt off before I even respond.

“Good morning Love, I actually slept well. I've nevered slept so well before" I told him.

 I just met this boy and I'm already falling for him. This boy cooked me breakfast and spent the night with me and didn't do the bounce on me. My heart is telling me that he might be the one for me but I'm not quite sure at the moment.

 "I got some business to handle so I'll come get you later on and we'll go on a second date", He kissed me.

 "Okay baby, I'll be waiting. Be safe", I respond back as he leaned in again for another kiss goodbye. He has the most soft and sweet kisses, I love them.

 My phone starts ringing. And it's my bitch Keshia.

"Hello!?"

"Hey bitch, what you doing?” She said all playfully.

"Hey Keshia girl, I'm not doing nothing. Why what's up?” I replied

"Girl, nothing. I wanted to come over for the day and chill with my bestie. Is that cool with you or are you busy?” She asked.

“Come on over, I'm not even doing nothing. And girl I got some news to tell you when you get her bitch!” I laughed.

            It didn't take her any time to get to my house. That bitch speed to my house, I love her she's always been there for me and I can tell her anything and everything without being judged. She has my only trust.

 The doorbell rings, it's her-

 "Hey Bee!” She says kissing me on my cheeks. "So what's the news girl? Spill the beans."

            She is so ready to hear what I got to say. Before I spill any type of beans, I went in the kitchen and got us something to snack on while we have this tasty conversation.

"Soooo.", I said.

"SO WHAT BITCH!?” Keshia shouted. “You better tell me before I slap you"

I laughed, "Well, I have a new boo. And his name is Chresanto, he's so beautiful."

She seemed so surprised.

"Oh my gosh! Bee. Where'd you meet him? And how'd you meet him?” She asked.

“I met him yesterday, right after De'Shun and I big fall out. He caught me at my worst but it was worth it. He also spent the night and fixed me breakfast.” I started blushing as I spoke of his name.

“That’s something different. Keep talking to him Bee; he just might be the one for you. I know and you know that Dee nevered did those things for you. That's why I've nevered gave him a chance, the way he treated you was not right.", she said smiling at me and hugging me.

Yes, I'm a crybaby. Our conversation was so deep and real, it brought me to tears. What if this boy is all I've been wanting and needing?

"You should stick around. Chres is coming back over here, he's taking me out again.” I told her with a kool-aid smile.

She was so glad that she was able to meet Chresanto; hopefully she likes him and sees how different he is from De'Shun. My best friend opinion always count and always matter, she knows what's best for me.

"Brooklyn, I'm happy for you baby girl. I haven't seen you smile in so long.”, She said bear hugging me. This girl is something else.

“I know Keshia; hopefully all of our dates go good. I know they are, he's a real man”, I respond.

Chresanto should be here in two hours, I have to find something cute wear and get in the shower. Keshia is going to help me get beautiful for my soon to be boyfriend, I have a good feeling about Chresanto and I. He's a sweetheart.

I want to impress him, but I don’t want to be too dressy. So I might just put on my red mini dress with my gold bootie red bottoms with a curly high bun and some gold jewelry.

I’m so nervous; this is our second date together. I don’t want to embarrass the both of us, I’m not trying to make him run away from me and I’ll be lonely forever. Maybe I should say a prayer before we leave, hopefully I don’t goof around too much and make a damn fool of myself in front of this fine ass nigga.

            Keshia noticed that I was kind of nervous. “Girl, just relax you’re going to be fine.” She said patting me on my shoulders.

            “I just don’t want to make a damn fool out of myself; I don’t want to do the wrong things. I just want this date to go well” I said. “Maybe I should stop worrying so much and hurry up and get myself together. It’s almost time for him to come get me and I haven’t even gotten in the shower yet.”

“I set your clothes out on the bed; you’re going to be okay my friend. Just be yourself and have fun.” She said.

                Keshia really gave me some good advice, which really helped me calm down. Thank God I have a friend like her. I needed that advice; I wasn’t going to make it.

                “I can’t wait to meet this Chresanto boy”, She yelled.

                “Me too, I hope you see the difference between him and De’Shun. I still can’t get over the simple fact this boy spent the night at my crib and fixed me breakfast.” I responded “Now that’s a real boyfriend for you boo.”

                I was out the shower. And before I put my clothes on Keshia wanted to do my hair and make up for me. And she hooked me the fuck up; I was looking so bright and beautiful. I couldn’t do nothing but smile and give her the biggest hug.

                “Girl, Keshia. I didn’t know you had this talent.” I told her smiling.

                “I’ve been going to cosmetology school, I want to be a celebrity stylist” She responded to me.

                “You’re really good at it; I think you will make a hell of a stylist. Shit you can be my stylist. I can’t even manage my own damn hair but you seem to know how to manage this puffy ass shit” we both laughed.

                Chresanto will be on his way soon, so I got dressed. And looked in the mirror, I thought I seen an angel. I looked so beautiful for my very first real date with a nice guy. I almost started to cry but I didn’t want ruin Keshia’s hard work.

                I’ve always been a beautiful girl, but tonight I finally got to see my outer beauty. I haven’t seen it in four years so it was very touching to me. How could a beautiful girl like me let herself go through so much heartache and headache with someone who didn’t deserve her in the first place? Why was she so desperate for love?

                I felt like my old self and I loved it. Keshia hugged me and told me that she loved me so much and she was always going to be there for. No matter what, she really makes me feel better when I’m so down. It’s such a blessing to have some people like her. When I was kicked out of my house, she moved me into her place until I could go back home. Her family treated me like I was her blood sister. I know now if I don’t have nobody else I’m going always have my bitch Keshia.
