            Quick intro
Year - 2036
Allison always knew she was different.  She had abilities others didn't have.  Every now and then something odd would happened, something she couldn't explain.  Like when her teachers papers suddenly scattered all over the room when she simply looked at them.
Alison's mum was a doctor and her dad was a CEO of a large company.  They lived in a large house on the outskirts of London.  Avery, Allisons sister, wasn't like Allison.  She didn't posses the powers to make things "happen".
The James family led the average life.  Nothing especially extraordinary in their life.  Well that was until August 2 2036.  Allison's 11th birthday.

The day was August 2 2036, My 11th birthday. My mum scurried into my room with a little birthday cake. The cake smelled like buttercream, my favorite frosting. She began singing happy birthday when my Sister Came in the room holding a present. " Here you go" She said to me.
"Thank you" I replied. "can I open it mummy?"
"Not yet honey, your father is bringing up the rest."
My dad walked in the room and almost tripped on the little pink rug. He was holding a pile of presents in his arms.
"Here you go, Princess" he breathed.
"Thanks guys! I love you! I said happily . I threw my covers off and sat down on my rug. My sister Avery handed me her gift. I unwrapped the paper and it revealed a friendship bracelet making kit. I was thrilled to make some braclets for my friends! "Awe aves! Thank you for the lovely gift!"
I picked up the next parcel and opened it. My jaw dropped when I saw the beautiful locket. Inside was a picture of my family. Little seven year old Avery holding my hand. On the other side of the locket was an ordinary family portrait. I decided to wait until after dinner to open the last few.
When I went down stairs I saw my mum had made us a breakfast of eggs and bacon. I sat down in my at the kitchen table to eat my delicious meal. My sister sat next to me and we just talked and laughed for what seemed like hours. My mum let us have a slice of birthday cake. I ate my cake then headed to the living room to watch television on the 3dTv.
SKWAK! I heard a bird flying outside. Just then I heard our letter slot open and close. I ran to the front door and saw a little letter addressed to Allison Marie James. I ran to the kitchen to show my mum. "MUM!" I yelled.
"Ally, why are you yelling?"
" Mum I got a letter! Do you think its a birthday present?" I exclaimed
"maybe honey." my mom replied sweetly.
I opened it to reveal the most life changing piece lf paper I will ever receive. Inside there was a letter reading :

To Allison Marie James. We would like to welcome you to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is a school for aspiring young wizards and witches. You can get your books in Diagon Alley That is in London. You can get in through the Leaky cauldron. We have a list of books needed for your first year.
The train leaves a 11:00 am sharp on September 1st.
Your ticket is in the envelope.
- headmistress Minerva McGonagall
"Um mum, I think I was sent a letter from a school "
"let me see" she sounded concerned. I pulled out the book list and ticket. The train left from kings Cross on platform 9 3/4. What! I thought.
"Mum" I said sitting down  at the  kitchen table. " Do you think this is real!  I'm a witch?"
" I'm not sure about this, I'm going to go talk to your father.  Why don't you go make braclets with Avery?
" Ok, Mum, love you lots!"
I went  to my sisters room and sat on her bed with my new toy.  She was sitting in a chair next to her little bed.   We sat there making braclets but my mind was on something else.  That letter, was it serious or just a joke? Will my mum and dad let me go? Does this finally explain my powers? All these question and more were zooming in my head.
Meanwhile upstairs my parents were discussing the same questions. "Do you think is serious, dear" my dad ,Ben, asked my mum seriously
"Ben, we have known for,a while that Ally had something different about her.  I think this place, hogwarts, is real.  My mum, Anna, replied.
" okay what do you want to do.  Are you really ok with sending her away to some school?"
" I think it is for the best, honey, why don't we just go try to get into diagon alley.  If we can't get in then we will know its fake".  Anna replied
Okay when do you want to go?
" now.  For Allison's sake, she will dwell on this if we don't do it soon. I will go get the girls ready to go"
"Ok honey.  Don't get her hopes up though" Ben said
Back in Avery's room my mum walked in. "Mummy" I said. " Did you and daddy talk about it?
" Yes, get dressed, you too Avery. We are going to try to find this diagon alley".
"Yay," I smiled and ran to my room.  I pulled on a dress then ran back down stairs.  I couldn't wait to find out about this mysterious Hogwarts.  My parents came down stairs moments later then came Avery.  We walked out to our car and hopped in.  The car ride to London was quiet.  We pulled into a parking lot.  When out of the car, we went down the street looking for the leaky cauldron bar.
We came to this small run down building with a sign above it read "the leaky cauldron" we walked into the bar.  My dad walked up to the bar owner and said " is this the way to diagon Alley?"
"Yes,  want to get in? Hand me the letter." Whispered the bar owner. My dad pulled the envelope out of his pocket placing it on the  "follow me." The man led us to the back of the bar and tapped the brick wall with his wand. The bricks begin to pull apart forming an entry way.  My jaw dropped to my chest.  This was the most amazing thing I had ever seen.  This place existed!  I couldn't believe my eyes and my parents began to walk through.  They hesitated a little but I walked straight in.  This was my world.  The place I belonged, the place where my abilities could flourish.
"Ben" my mum whispered. " it's real!" We all walked a little farther to reveal a bustling street.  There were tall crooked buildings and one giant building called "Gringotts".  I noticed that everyone was carrying what appeared to be wands and were wearing strange clothes.  Like cloaks.  My dad pulled the envelope containing the school list.
" Well Allison, looks like you're  going to Hogwarts. " he said trying to smile.  He was very out of place here. "So you need to buy some books, a set of robes, and a wand.  Honey I will pick up the books, you go with Ally and Aves to get her wand and cloaks."
I couldn't believe this I was a witch!  I was magical!  Although very excited I was scared.  Scared to leave and take on a new beginning.  My mom faced our hands.  "We're can we get a wand?" She asked a passing witch.
                      "Olivanders ofcourse!"  She replied
"Ok. Thank you" my mum muttered.  She dragged us,down the busy street while Avery cried.
"Mummy! Where Is my letter! Why can't I go.
" oh honey, you are only seven! Besides you aren't a witch" we all walked down the winding cobblestone street until we came upon a building called Ollivanders.
