Chapter 22: School

*Kayla's POV*

(Reminder she is has a little bump and its noticeable because I'm skipping a lot)

I got to the school and went to my mailbox. I grabbed my stuff and went to my classroom. They changed the name on the door. Cute cute. I opened the door and saw pink balloons everywhere. "Aww." I said and put my stuff down. I pushed them in the back of the room and lined some desks up so they wouldn't move. I sat in my chair and got stuff ready. I looked over the subs notes and saw that Jake got into most of the trouble. Not a shocker there.

The rest of the classes were good except like two. The bell rang and I got the papers out and stuff and turned on the smart board and went over to the board. "Oh god." I said looking at it. There was a drawing of the teddy bear I gave Daniel and a bunch of girl names. I didn't erase it so I put the do now on the smart board and went on my phone.

Daniel❤️💍: Babeeeeeeee I miss youuuuuuuuuuu😔❤️
Me: I know but I'm in school so❤️
Daniel: fine fine send me a picture of your classroom I want to see what they did!

I took the picture of the balloons and the board and sent them. My homeroom came in and looked around. "Hey guys!" I said when they took their seats. "OH MY GOD YOUR BACK!" They yelled. "It's been awhile." I smiled. "So how was it without me?" I asked. "Bad the subs were mean." Jenn said. "The activities I left weren't difficult right?" I asked. "No." They all said. "Well I'm back for sure this time but with a different name." I said and they looked confused. "Why do you guys think I was gone so long?" I asked.

"Because you were moving into your new house." Ben said. "Yes that and I got married." "WAIT A MINUTE YOUR DANIEL SKYE'S WIFE?!" The girls yelled. "Yea." I said. The bell rang and they left. First period came in and Zach came in too. "KAYLA SKYE!" He yelled. "Yessssss!" I laughed. "CONGRATULATIONS BOO!" He said hugging me. "By the way I picked out the name Bella so you should use it." He whispered. "Okay I have class to start so bye." I said and he left. "Alright guys I'm back with a new name so instead of Ms. Espinosa it's now Mrs. Skye and today if you want to go in the back be careful with the balloons on the floor. We are doing a lab that has to do with water so don't spill it. Don't break the glass and definitely don't throw things. Grab a sheet in the back and go do the lab." I said. "If you have any questions let me know."

I sat down and turned on some music because I don't know. I looked at my phone and saw Daniel snapchatted me. It's been awhile since I've been on that app. I opened it and it was a picture of him and the bear on stage. He's too cute.

~Skipping to Fifth period~

I walked around to the front of my desk and waited. They all came in and sat down. "Well hi I'm back as Mrs. Skye so don't say Ms. Espinosa anymore. I read the subs notes this morning and I was not happy with this classes behavior especially Jake and his friends. When I'm gone for a long time that doesn't mean you come in here when there's a sub and act differently. I was going to come back to see how you guys were doing last week but I had a doctors appointment and my husband went back on tour and I had to finish with my house. Getting a note like that is not acceptable. I will be out again soon for another appointment and for meetings and for other stuff and I shouldn't get a note like that ever again. I'm a little mad but not as much because I just got back and I want to have a nice day."

"So today we are doing a lab so don't spill the water, don't break any glass, don't mess anything up and don't pop the balloons. Get a sheet from the back table and get started."

~P.M. Homeroom~

"Is Mrs. Skye there?" "Yes." "CONGRATUALTIONS!" I laughed and waited for the bell. The bell rang and they left. I grabbed my stuff and heard the door open. "Hey babe." Daniel said holding a balloon. "How did you get here this fast?" "I left tour early to see you." He said with tears. "Why are you crying?" I asked wiping his tears away. "I missed you and our little girl." He said hugging me. "I'll drive home." He said grabbing my keys. We popped the balloons and then went home.

I opened the door and he brought his stuff in. "Wow you finished everything." He closed the door and looked around. "Yea well thanksgiving is next week and we are having it here so." I said putting my stuff upstairs. "And your showing." He said wrapping his arms around my waist. "I know I feel fat!" I said and he laughed. "I love you." He kissed me and I kissed back.
