I stepped off the train and glanced around London with a smile spread across my lips. Ah, home. I missed this place. I scanned the faces of the train station until I found my best friend.
"Excuse me! Pardon me! Coming through!" He cried, bumping into people and knocking them over. He looked up, his green orbs sparkling with excitement. I giggled and grinned. Harry.
"Layla! Layla?" Harry looked around.
"Hazz! Right here!" I squealed and ran into his embrace. People smiled at us as if we were a reunited couple. I guess in some ways we were. I had feelings for him. I had fallen hard when he was practicing for his X Factor audition, serenading me over and over again with 'Isn't She Lovely.' Now he was a huge star, but he had made time to surprisingly invite me to spend the entire summer with him and the boys in their flat in London.
"Oh my god, I've missed you so much." Harry whispered, his voice waving and cracking. Happy tears rolled down both of our cheeks as we pulled away. He chuckled. "Why are you crying?"
"I'm happy to see you. I've missed you more than you know, Harry."
"I've missed you more." He said, a cute smile playing on his lips. I smiled and poked his adorable dimples. They had gotten cuter, deeper in the past three years.
"Has it really been three years?" I asked in amazement.
"Damn." Harry stared at his shoes. I glanced down at them. The famous white converse.
"You're not all 'in cognito' today." I smiled at his outfit.
"I had to be normal for you, you wouldn't be able to see me." He chuckled.
"Yes I would. I know those eyes and that hair anywhere." I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Um, miss? Mister? I'm happy that you're happy, but could you please step off the platform? Another train arrives soon from Bradford and I would like the platform to be cleared so the travelers can leave in peace." One of the conductors at the station interrupted our moment.
Me and Harry laughed, apologized for the trouble, and went to the cab.
"Where are the boys?" I asked.
"Back at the flat. I invited them to come, but they were playing FIFA and couldn't leave. I think Liam and Louis were beating Niall and Zayn when I came to get you." He chuckled. "Ahh, Niall. You'll get on with him very well. He's a happy guy."
"From what I've heard, he's a hungry lad too."
"Quite, quite hungry." Harry grinned and we laughed.
We spent the entire half an hour ride to the flat catching up, telling inside jokes, and just being ourselves.
We went inside the complex and got to their flat. Harry put a finger to his lips, signaling me to be quiet, and quietly opened the door.
"NO! THAT IS TOTAL BULLSHIT!" Zayn screamed. "THAT WAS A GOAL!"
"Bounced off the post, buddy." Liam laughed and patted Zayn's back.
"DON'T TOUCH ME!" Zayn snapped and walked away. He looked over at the door and screamed like a little girl.
"Hey! Harry's home! Louis, Niall! Harry and Layla are here!" Liam smiled.
"Sorry about that. I'm Zayn." Zayn was the brightest shade of red I had ever seen on somebody. I giggled.
"It's fine. I'm Layla. It's nice to meet you."
"I'm Liam." He smiled. I shook his hand.
"You're so lame." Louis walked in, teasing Liam.
"How?" Liam pouted.
"Really? You go for a handshake, dude. How do you get laid?" Louis shook his head in dissapointment. "See what I live with? I'm Louis." Louis stretched his arms out for a hug. I blushed and hugged him.
"Hey. She's mine." Harry pulled me in protectively. I giggled and felt my face get hot.
Niall walked in suddenly and froze when we locked eyes. My god. He was so gorgeous.
Maybe I was Harry's but maybe not for that much longer.
