Amber's POV
"Amber honey wake up! Todays the big day" I groan as I heard my mom's cheerful voice.
"What time is it?" I ask her before shoving my face back into my pillow and pulling the soft blankets over my face.
"Its already six! You're going to be late to your own wedding if you don't wake up right now."
I slowly pull the blankets out of my face, almost all the lights in the room are on considering its still pretty dark outside. I see my sister Gaby come out the bathroom, brushing out her hair.
"Lou said she's on her way up" She said. She threw the brush at me, almost hitting me in the face. "Brush your hair, it looks like a nest"
"Thanks for the honesty" I mumble as I lazily get out of bed and into the bathroom.
I look at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes are still droopy and my hair does actually look like a nest. I brush it out, making my hair frizz, not that I actually cared. I turn around and go turn on the shower. I quickly undress myself and step into the warm water, letting it run down my body. I put on some shampoo and scrubbed it onto my hair. It seemed like the water woke me up and soon realization hit me.
I'm getting married today.
Seven months of discussion and preparations, organizing everything, sending out invitations and making sure we didn't exclude anybody. Finding the perfect dress for me and for my bridesmaids. The perfect wedding rings and an embarrassing trip to Victoria's Secret to find lingerie for the honeymoon. And an even more embarrassing trip to go get my area waxed.
My thoughts are interrupted when I feel the painful stinging in my eyes. I try to rinse out the soap in my eye with the running water. I curse as the stinging gets worse. The pain soon stops after a while. I grab the razor and shave my legs and under my arms. I finally finished washing out all the conditioner from my hair and exit the shower. I wrap a towel around my hair and get a bathrobe to cover my body. I step out the bathroom to find that the peacefulness of the room is now replaced with chaos and almost all of my bridesmaids are here.
"There she is!" Lou says cheerfully. Everyone turns to look at me with a smile. Gaby runs over to me and pushes me towards the chair in front of Lou. "Are you excited for today?" She asks me.
"More nervous than excited" I say truthfully.
"Are you having doubts?" I look up to see her with a worried expression.
"No, of course not. I'm just having this weird feeling. I don't know how to describe it, but its feels like someone is squeezing my stomach and wont let it go. Not sure if that's good or bad" She stares at me more and then starts to laugh lightly. Confusion fills my face as she continues to laugh.
"Don't worry love, you're just having bridal anxiety, at least that's what my grandmother told me at my wedding. I felt that way before my wedding too" She gives me a big smile before giving me a big hug, making my so called bridal anxiety to ease down. "Now are you ready to get even more beautiful than you already are?"
I smile and nod, she takes the towel out of my hair and begins to blow dry it. Two and a half hours later I have my hair into a braided updo hairstyle and my makeup done. By the time I'm done I still have an hour and a half to put on my dress and go to the church.
I look around and see almost everyone is ready. My mom brings over my dress and takes it out. It takes us almost twenty minutes to get on the medium sized ball gown style dress. It has a sweetheart neckline with really thin see-through sleeves. It has little crystals that seem to go all over my upper chest and stop around my neck. Crystals going down my arm and covering the top of the dress along with some at my waist. As Lou puts on my veil Lottie runs over to me and hands me her phone.
"Here, your soon to be husband wants to talk to you" I thank her as I put the phone at my ear.
"Hello?"
"Hey baby, how's it going?" Niall says. I feel my stomach do flips hearing the word baby roll off his tongue.
"Everything's good. Everyone is ready and Lou is just putting on my veil" I say smiling.
"God I can't wait to see you, I bet you look absolutely beautiful" I blush at his words.
"Thank you. How about you? What are you doing right now?"
"I'm on my way to the church"
"Already?" surprise evident in my voice.
"Yes baby, already. Have to get there early to wait for you"
"Well I'm about to be on my way" I see my mom spraying perfume all over me and herself.
"Alright, can't wait to see you beautiful"
"Can't wait to see you too. Bye handsome"
"Bye princess" I hang up the phone and walk towards the mirror. I run my hands down my dress as I look at my reflection. Everyone's watching me. I turn around to see my dad walk into the room. He walks towards me and gives me a big hug.
"My little girl is all grown up" I hear him say. I pull away and see him wipe away a tear. My eyes gloss over as I grab his hand.
"I'll always be your little girl" We smile at each other before a knock at the door ruins the moment. Sophia walks in.
"The limo's are here" She says
"Ready?" My dad says looking over to me.
"Ready" I say as we all head out the hotel room.
