KNOCK KNOCK!
"I'll get it!" I yell out.
I walk over to the door and slowly open it. In front of me are the most gorgeous blue eyes I've ever seen."Like what you see?" I hear.
"Huh?"
"What are you doing at my house?" the blue eyed boy asks.
"Your house? This is my house!" I exclaim, "Ann, James, there's someone here saying this is there house!"
Ann comes running into the room.
"Ryder!" she said and pulls him into a hug.
"Mom, who is she?""She's our friends' daughter, and has been living with us for the past year."
"What! When did this happen?" Ryder says
"I'll tell you later," Ann replies, "Rosalie, take Ryder to the spare room."
"But who is this?" I ask.
"This is my son, Ryder. He was at a boarding school for the last few years. Be nice."
"I'll try, but I can't guarantee it," I tell Ann, then turn to Ryder, "C'mon."
I lead Ryder to the spare room, which was apparently his, and leave him at the door.
"Hey, what's your name?" Ryder calls out.
"Wouldn't you like you like to know?"
I hear footsteps coming from behind me. I spin around and bump into something- no, someones hard chest . I take one step back and look up at him.
"What's your name?" he asks once more.
"Figure it out."
"C'mon, please?" he begs with the cutest puppy dog eyes.
Don't give in Rosalie, don't even think about it! Just as I turn around to leave again, Ann calls out to me .
"Rosalie dear, come give me a hand in the kitchen!"
"Sure thing Ann!" I answer, my cheeks turning red.
Ryder smirks, "Rosalie, huh? Mind if I call you Rose?"
"Rosalie is just fine, " I tell him.
"Rose it is," he says, walking away with a smug look on his face.
I sigh in defeat as I walk over to the kitchen to help Ann. While I'm chopping up some vegetables, Ryder's mom asks, "Is something wrong? Looks like something's bothering you."
"No, I'm fine, just a little surprised by Ryder coming home." I reply.
"Well, if he ever bothers you, just tell me," she assures me, "Now go finish up some of your homework. I'll call you downstairs when dinner's ready."
I run up the stairs and go straight to my room to avoid any unwanted encounter with Ryder. I turn my music loud, and wait till dinner is ready.
