3 Confusions and Answers

I woke up with some dazzling sounds, i wonder where it came from, they were like bells jingling at dawn.

The sun has yet to set and i like the feeling cuddling in the bed Gezel made for me, they smell like lavenders and its comfy warm.

The sun is beginning to rise and the glowing stars in the ceiling were beginning to fade. I got up in bed still hugging a pillow and went to the window.

I slid it down and went out the balcony, i look around the field and no more fireflies, but rather some butterflies flew out from flowers and lady bugs were flying with the wind.

I noticed some blue light that flickers in the other side of the field, and it trails upto the forest. It was dim so i can't see clearly so i wipe my eyes and look again, but in my confusion it was already gone.

I look around again, hoping to catch a glimpse with it again. But nothing came into view.

I erased the thought and i roam my eyes again, i gaze at the willow tree, it really is beautiful, it never disappoints me.

The willow tree was located in the center of the field and for some reasons, i can feel that the good appearance of the estate was because of the preserved willow tree.

It was a good subject to my sketch, i thought to myself, smiling.

A moment later, i went to the bathroom to shower and change my pajamas into a flowery knee length skirt and a white three fourths blouse. I pick my favorite red low cut shoes and grabbed my sketching materials and head down.

The smell of omellet and bacon filled the hallway and my stomach started to rumble, I chuckled.

When i reach the kitchen Gezel has a Coffee Pot in her hand as she look up to me and smiled.

"Good Morning Emily." she greeted.

"Good Morning." I said shyly.

"You're dressed already, ya goin' out ?" a woman in her late 20's faced me and smiled. "Im Deiah, and you must be Primrose's daughter Emily, nice to finally meet you." she said.

"Yes, and the pleasure is mine Deiah." i said back with a nod.

Deiah has a dark blonde hair and brown eyes, i think she's 5'7 in height, i was 5'5 so im shorter. She was slim and her physic, she has soft muscles and i can tell that she worked out.

"Come sit now dear, the food is still warm, eat up." Gezel said reaching out a cup of coffe to me.

I take a sip and my eyes bulge. "This is good!" i exclaimed and she just nod. Deiah chuckled, "isn't it? thats why i like her kitchen skill, she's a secret chef."she said with a laugh. I just smiled and nod and devour the delicious breakfast Gezel made.

A moment later, we heard foot steps coming to the kitchen. I look up and saw a young looking man, medium built. He has dark reddish hair and gray eyes, he looked at me with a weird expression.

"You must be Emily." he started. I look up and smiled. "I'm Khalil." he continued and he sat beside Deiah, picking a piece of bacon and shoving it to his mouth. I chuckled. Deiah shot him a look.

"What? im eating." he said and gulped. "Manners Khalil" Deiah said.

Khalil was weird, i was certain that he was strained from something. But he just wear a smile or smirk in his face to cover it all up.

"Well, Emily... what would you like to do today?" Gezel spoke.

"I'm just gonna go around, i brought my sketch pads, maybe i can draw something." I smiled drinking the last sip of my coffee.

"You want company?" Deiah asked. "That would be great." I replied.

We finished breakfast and im waiting for Deiah in the front porch, with a sketchpad in my hand and a charcoal pencil.

The front door swing open, and Deiah appeared with a bow and arrow in her back. I look at her confused but smiling.

She shrugged and said, "You'll see."

After crossing the wide field of flowers, we reach weird looking place covered with tall hedges, i was confused but i didnt raise questions, Deliah must've notice my face because she just smirked at me.

We cross a street and reach a weird place that looks like a village, there were people there but it was a dull place. I was silent, i was so confused. We walked, crawl under bushes and hedges, we even climb fences, Deiah was so weird but i trust the look of her that she knows what were doing.

Twenty minutes of walking and we reached a tall bush again with vines in it, but much taller than the first one we crawl. Bit instead of crawling, Deiah reach the the vines and parted it then she crossed the bushes entering it.

I followed her and i stop in my tracks as my jaw dropped, my eyes bulge and later on i realized i was holding my breath.

A huge palace-like structure stood up in front of me, and i was in awe. Deiah nudge my arm to wake me in my day dream.

I blink a few times and i look at her back and forth to the place we stood, she laughed at me.

"You like what you see?" she asked, i did not reply, words were stuck in my mouth, tongue tied. "Thought so." she grinned again."Come on! we dont have all day." she said walking away her back at me.

Im sitting in a bench under an oak tree, watching Deiah as she shoots her arrow to her target.

I was sketching the place. I only spotted a few people in the place and i was quite relieve because i have a little shy type of person in me, especially in places i dont know.

I was still confused, until later... "Do you have any questions Emily?" Deiah asked suddenly breaking the silence.

I gave her a sad look and nod. "Ask right away." she sang.

"I, uhmm. What is this place?" i stuttered looking at her. At the same time, she looked at me and her arrow is now facing me, she pulled the bow and prepared to shoot me.

I suddenly closed my eyes and i heard the arrow land.

anyway if your confused, let me clear something out. the places were Deiah bring Emily are homes of different Faery Species. Why do Emily not noticed? because Faery Species have strong senses, Deiah was walking ahead of Emily so everytime they step in a new teritory, Deiah will immediately signal the teritory watchers so that they will give an awareness sign to the other species of what to do, to camouflage themselves or hide, to be remained unnoticed.

next chapter is a surprise. im excited though.haha

Notes:

Elves: Are magical human-like beings with pointed ears, and mostly has blonde hairs. They are light hearted in nature. They are great beauties living in the forests or springs. They specialize in archery and very polite.

Spriggans: they are known as busy thieves, but not most spriggans were bad thieves, they were beautiful men and sometimes they act as faery body guards. In Winkles Nook, every Faery species have their own assigned posts. And Spriggans are the front line protectors of the Estate.
