Afraid::Michael fanfic

Chapter 1

It was the first day of freshman year and I was pretty nervous. I wore black skinny jeans with rips at the knees with a black and white flannel, I wasn't gonna go over the top like I knew most girls would, I'm more of a girl that doesn't like that much attention.

I finally arrived at the school around 7:30 and I went to find the place where most kids hang around.

I walked over to the fence and that's where I saw him, He had light green eyes and dirty blonde hair, he was tall and pretty slim, and I couldn't take my eyes off of him.

I walked up next to him and copied the pose he was doing on the fence, one foot on the ground and the other on the fence with his arms crossed on his chest.

He turned to look at me and I watched as his eyes scanned my body then met my eyes. He then put his hand out for me to shake.

"Hey I'm Michael"

"Hi Michael, I'm Jessa but you can call me Jess"

"Alright, so Jess I'll see you around"

Before I could even reply he walked away and into the building leaving me by myself. So I decided to go into the building too.

First thing I had to do was find locker 113 which was mine. I easily found it and then I pulled out my schedule of all my classes.

I had social studies  first in room 248 but there was one thing I don't know
My way around the school.

I walked down the halls a couple times until I bumped into a girl and accidentally made her drop her books.

"I'm so sorry" I said as I helped pick her books up.

"Oh it's okay"

"Thanks" she said as I handed her the books

"What's your name, I'm Karina"

"I'm Jessa but I prefer to be called Jess and can you help me find room 248"

"Hey I have to be in that room too, follow me"

We walked in silence to social studies and it was really awkward, But hey at least I got her name.

When I walked in the class I saw Michael right away, causing me to immediately blush. He gave me a little wave with a smirk.

He watched me as I walked towards him
And took the empty seat next to him.

Half way through class I notice that these girls on the other side of Michael were looking at me and whispering to each other. Then they started to laugh hysterically and the teacher had to tell them to quiet down causing everyone to turn to them. Then they glared at me.

I wonder why they were looking at me like that, was it the way I dressed or the way my hair looked?

Finally class ended and I was about to walk out of the class when Michael walked passed me shoving me a little to get my attention.

After about 3 other classes it was time for lunch. I walked to the cafeteria and got my lunch. Then I heard someone calling my name, it was Karina.

"Hey Jess, Come sit with me"

I walked over and took a seat across from her.

"Hey, how's your first day going so far?" She asked

"Good I guess, how about you"

"Fine"

We talked the whole lunch time until we had to go to our next classes. The rest of the day felt so long and was pretty boring. Then the clock finally struck 3pm.

I walked to my locker, and there standing there were the girls from social studies.

"Um can I help you" I said

"Don't sass me little girl and yes you can"

"And how would that be princess"

"I thought I told you not to sass me, and stop talking to Michael"

"Make me"

"You know what Jessie or what ever your name is just watch your back"

Then she walked away with her little friends following behind her.

Then I felt someone breathing on my neck
"Welcome to your first day of hell Jess"
Michael said as he walked out of the building.

That was the strangest most dramatic first day of school I've ever had I thought to myself as I walked out the building as well.
