Luke Hemmings
The sunlight woke Luke up, which caused him to sit up in a rush of realization. The sun wasn't supposed to be out when he woke up. School started before dawn. Then again, when Luke opened his eyes, he wasn't in his room either.
He was in what looked like an old, abandoned apartment. Which was really small, and kind of smelled like feet. And when he looked around some more, he realized that there was no lock on the door, and the only thing that showed that someone lived there was a medium-sized backpack filled with the necessities.
"Where am I?" Luke spoke, but it didn't sound like his own voice. It sounded different.
Luke quickly stood up, noticing that he felt a tad bit shorter than usual. Odd. He couldn't find a mirror, so he did what anyone else would do.
He ran out the door, screaming as loud as he could.
Granted, this wasn't the most logical thing to do in this particular situation, but from what Luke could tell, he was in some dilapidated apartment complex. And he didn't want to run into any disease-infected hobos.
He started running down the sidewalk, and he slowed down once he started recognizing the street names and such. And when he saw his own house, he sighed a breath of relief.
But when he walked through the gates and knocked on the door, the butler shrieked and slammed the door in Luke's face.
At this point Luke wanted to sit in a hole and cry for all of eternity.
Instead he sat on the sidewalk, waiting for something good to happen. All that happened was the arrival of Ashton and Calum and...
"What the fuck?" Luke stood up and watched himself turn and gape at him. Luke has only cussed twice in his life; when his pet hamster died, and when he saw someone else in his body.
"Um, Luke, do you know this guy?" Ashton waved a hand in front of his face and furled his nose. "God, he smells."
"I told you people, I'm not Luke," he walked up to Luke. "This is Luke. I'm Michael."
Luke coughed,"It's true."
Calum crossed his arms, "Prove it, Luke."
"Remember that one time at your sixteenth birthday party when your drink got spiked and you walked over to Mia and -"
"OKAY, OKAY!" Calum's face flushed. "He's Luke."
"But how?" Ashton looked at Luke and Michael. "Switching bodies isn't a thing. Right?"
"I mean, I wished I had a different life last night but -"
"I did too," Michael's eyes widened. "Do you think...?"
"A shooting star," Luke groaned. "I wished on a shooting star and I ended up a hobo. Isn't this just dandy?"
