"Well, well, well, why isn't it blondie?"

Ashton's mouth was open and wide, his mind went completely blank. It was as if an angel was standing right in front of him. It was Luke. The boy Ashton was unknowingly falling for.

He looked even better the first time he met him. He was so beautiful when they met, it was almost like a dream. But this was no dream. He is right here, he is real, and he is breathing. And that's what made it more realistic to Ashton. Luke was glowing and it was all Ashton could see.

"H-Hi," Luke stammered waving his hand slightly, clearly embarrassed.

Calum then looked at Michael astonished, "You know him?"

"Yeah, we met." Michael sent a sly wink towards Luke who started blushing madly.

Luke then looked at Ashton and smiled. He remembers him. Ashton felt his heart tug while his hands got clammy. He didn't know why every time he heard his voice his throat would dry up or why his blood pressure went up?

Ashton hesitantly smiled back but suddenly all the happiness drained from his face. Luke's eyes were red and puffy, his nose was also slightly red. He was crying. Why was he crying?

"Wait- So we all know each other?" Calum said, still trying to wrap his head around this situation while the two boys eyed look like a piece of candy.

They all nodded and Calum sighed in relief, "Thank god, that would have been so awkward! And it would take so much time to introduce everybody and blah, blah, blah."

Ashton noticed Luke was still standing, while Calum plopped himself down and made himself comfortable next to Michael eating at his french fries. Michael wasn't so happy with that and started getting irritated with him.

Ashton then cleared his throat, "There's a spot next to me, Luke." Ashton sweetly patted the spot next to him.

Luke awkwardly shuffled to the seat and hugged his backpack to his chest as he sat down.

"I didn't know you go here?" Ashton questioned.

Luke quickly shook his head, "It's my first day here." He blankly said. He didn't look so happy about it either.

Ashton tried to continue the conversation, he didn't want to stop talking to him just yet. "S-So, how do you like it so far?"

Luke tensed a little but replied, "It's been okay, I guess." He said clearly agitated. Ashton frowned.

"How come?" Ashton may have been pushing Luke's limit since he noticed Luke was getting more angry with the subject of school, so he changed the topic.

"So, what kind of music do you like?" The mention of music immediately caught Luke's attention, and Ashton was happy to see him more interested. Luke smiled while he was talking about his favorite bands and music genres. Music was something Luke really loved Ashton learned. He found out he plays guitar and knows how to sing. His voice is probably heavenly.

"-and I'm hoping I can make a living out of it one day." Luke ended with a confidant smile.

Little did Ashton know Michael and Calum were also listening to what Luke had to say about his dreams. They were all so infatuated with the blonde boy. When ever Luke spoke, his voice put people through a trace.
