"Bryce" Sarah sighed, "you should stop landing yourself in jail all the time"
"Sarah, honey, being the rebellious teen in my day, you need to be active" I shrugged.
"Don't you give me an 'in my day' talk, I'm just a year older than you!" Sarah yelled. I guess throwing toilet paper around Principal Brooks garden wasn't the best idea. "Why do you do it anyway?" Sarah ran one hand through her gorgeous blonde hair as she took a familiar bend towards our house. Her green eyes seemed to hold so much emotion.
"Because I can" I shrugged as I exited the car and walked inside. I heard Sarah muttering something like, 'what would I ever do with her' under her breath.
As I laid on my bed, motionless and tired because of the day's activities I couldn't help but think where my real parents are. Sarah was just my foster sister, but she never seemed to get fazed by that idea and always stayed by my side like a real sister would. I would always be grateful to have a foster sister like her.
I got up from my position on the bed and stopped in front of my dresser to take in my appearance. My short brown hair was sticking out from every direction. My beanie was half way off my head. I placed my phone and earphones on the dresser and walked towards my bathroom and had a shower.
After my shower I wore a pair of comfortable orange shorts and a mickey mouse t-shirt and fell on the bed, once again motionless and tired. The soothing sound of the rain hitting the roof helped my eyes get heavier and heavier, and soon, I had drifted off to sleep.
--------
I woke up when someone started shaking me furiously and yelling my name. That someone was my loving 'father'.
"Good morning dad" I smiled lazily.
"'Ello love" he smiled. He had come from Britain after 3 months so he has an accent which makes all the women in the house jealous.
After having my early morning shower and stuffing my face with breakfast I left the house in my car. It was just another day in my senior year.
I met my friends in the school's parking lot and we talked about our recent pranks. In our little group of people we have Trudy, Adam, Marc, Marti and I. The five of us have been best friends since the beginning of high school. We're known as the school's little rebels.
----------
Today in first period I waited in the back of the class and texted Marti until everyone was in class. Unlike some rebels, I tend to be in class early, but I'm the biggest rebel in our group.
When our teacher Ms. Mathews came in for Math class, I thought it would be a nice to be entertaining for the class if I put on a bit of a show.
"Excuse me miss?" I raised my hand, making sure I was getting noticed.
"What?" She sounded annoyed. She's going to love this.
"What starts with 'F' and ends with 'uck'?" I smiled innocently.
"There is no swearing allowed in my class, Ms. Daniels!" She yelled, her face turning a bright shade of red with anger.
"Oh no miss! It's firetruck, what were you thinking miss?" I fake gasped as I put a hand on my chest making the whole class burst into fits of laughter.
"That's it! You're coming with me!" She yelled as she went out the door and waved at me to follow.
"Your welcome" I mouthed to the other kids as I bowed and left the class.
"I'm taking you to the principal" Ms. Mathews smirked.
"Kay" I shrugged, clearly not fazed by her statement.
"What is it now Ms. Daniels?" Principal Brooks sighed, as we opened the door.
"You must be a psychic sir!" I gasped.
"She disturbed the class again" She sighed running her hand through her ginger hair.
"You may leave now Ms. Mathews, thank you" he nodded appreciatively. When she left Pricipal Brooks sighed.
"Is anything wrong sir?" I batted my eyelashes innocently as I sat down in front of him.
"Why do you always do this?" He shook his head, "I'm going to suspend you now, would you like that?"
"Well sir, I don't see the point of missing more school when you already hate it so, I'll say yes" I grinned.
"We both know you're lying, you're one of the smartest in our school" he shook his head, "What about lunch and after school detention for a month"
"I'm cool with that, atleast I can catch up with my detention buddies" I smiled.
"It's not a punishment if you want it Ms. Daniels" he sighed. A few minutes later his whole face brightened, showing that he got a new idea. Now I'm scared.
"I'll get you a superviser" he smiled victoriously.
"A babysitter!" I yelled astonished.
"No, a superviser!" He grinned.
"A babysitter?!" No way!
"Then yes, a babysitter" he never seemed to loose that smile of his.
"I don't need one sir! I'm perfectly fine taking care of myself!" I stood up.
"Sit down!" He ordered, which I followed, "here's the deal, I'm going to get you a superviser to stick with for 3 months". He quickly took the announcing thing and said, "Ryan Carter, you are wanted at the principal's office immediately" and he left the thing aside, leaving me gaping at his sudden outburst. Who's this Ryan guy anyway? Probably some nerd or something.
"How could you?" I glared at my principal.
"How could I not?" He grinned as the door swung open revealing a huge boy with spectacles and crumbs of dome kind of food around his face. Oh no. This can't be him!
"Good morning sir, Ryan is here" he smiled. Oh no! He's trying to be cool by talking in third person! Oh god help me please!
"Bring him in" Principal nodded. Wait what? The kid waved his hand and in came a boy with dark brown hair which was slightly dishevelled and dark eyes that grew bright when they met mine.
"Good morning sir" he said.
"Take a seat Ryan" Principal Brooks pointed out. Ryan, I suppose, sat in the seat next to mine and gave me a warm smile, which I completely ignored.
"You can't let a newbie like him be my superviser" I pointed out, trying to get out of this mess.
"I've been in most of your classes since freshman year" Ryan nervously scratched the back of his neck.
"Really?" I said feeling a bit guilty.
"Yeah." He said slowly.
"Oh" I nervously chuckled.
"So Mr. Carter, you'll be Ms. Daniels' superviser for the next 3 months. and in exchange she will be your tutor for the subjects you find difficult" he smiled, "I'm not taking no for an answer, so just leave now"
"But si-" I complained as I stood up from my seat and Ryan by my side.
"No just leave" Principal sighed.
"C'mon" Ryan said as he grabbed my arm and took me outside the class.
"You don't have to do this" I sighed as I ran a hand through my short hair.
"Trust me I don't want to do this either." Ryan sighed.
"Okay then let's never talk about this again" I cheered as I turned around to leave.
"Oh no, I'm going to have fun with this opportunity " he smirked as he grabbed my arm, stopping me from leaving.
