Today was official day 2 of my punishment and I hate it and I'm pretty sure Ryan feels the same. Today might be different because I have a plan, a plan that would give me freedom for atleast one day.
Since today was a chilly day I decided to wear my one and only leather jacket... yeah yeah, it's sounds stereo typical, 'the bad girl with her leather jacket', but this jacket is the only thing that I have from my parents. The people in the orphanage told me the jacket was wrapped around me before I was left in front of a house.
I walked to school because I wanted to savour the chilly weather, and my car could be parked in the garage. It's always refreshing to walk. The cool early morning breeze brushed my cheeks and made my short brown hair sway with it. The trees' shade gave me a calm feeling. The sun's calm rays painted the sky making it bright with life. It took about 10 minutes for my whole bright with life theory to go down the drain when I saw my hell hole of a destination. Atleast Ryan wasn't in sight which gave me a good opportunity to meet my friends.
------------
It was last period when I heard my name being announced. I don't recall doing anything fun today because of the party pooper, AKA Ryan. I excused myself and exited the classroom to come face-to-chest with an incredibly tall subject of my thoughts.
"Stupid Carter, watch where you're going" I say as I furiously rubbed my nose.
"Come on" he said as he grabbed my arm and began pulling me towards the principal's office.
"What did you do?!" Ryan asked with a pissed off expeession as we entered the waiting room our receptionist, Lara, just smiled and waved at us to go inside.
"Nothing" I whispered as he slowly opened the door to be greeted by principal Brooks.
"Good afternoon sir" Ryan said politely causing me to let out a sigh of
"Good afternoon children, please take a seat" he smiled as he pointed at the chairs in front of the table.
"You know the senior year's trip is coming up, am I right?" He asked as he folded one hand over the other on the table.
"Yes sir" Ryan nodded.
"I need you two to stay an extra two days there just to get comfortable around eachother" I could see fright taking over his features.
"No way in hell!" I yelled the same time Ryan sighed, "sir, you don't have to"
"You two are going to spend 3 months or more together so the staff and I thought it would be better for you two to spend more time and as you kids now a days say, "hook up" " he made air quotations. Ryan's mouth swung open and I began to snicker. Old people.
"Do you know what hook up means?" I chuckled.
"It means getting to know a person" he shrugged.
"Yes, that's exactly what it means" I began howling with laughter as Ryan awkwardly started explaining. I couldn't hear what he said because I was too busy laughing.
I let out small chuckles after a while of laughing and saw Principal Brooks' ears were a shade of pink causing me to start laughing again. A small amount of pain shot up my arm which immediately made me stop laughing and give out a little 'ow' as I rubbed my hand furiously. Ryan pinched me!
Principal Brooks cleared his throat. "You can leave now" he pointed at the door.
When we exited the office and entered the waiting room Ryan burst out into fits of laughter. He was holding onto his stomach and continued laughing. I couldn't help but notice how attractive he looked. His hair was always in that 'I just got out of bed' Look and his eyes were a beautiful shade of brown. He has a 'bad boy' flair to his good looks which gives me an even more reason to find him attractive.
