"Oh no, I'm going to have fun with this opportunity"
"Rapist?" I asked wide-eyed and shocked.
"What? no! I mean like bossing you around and stuff" he said as he let go of my hand and made a disgusted face.
"I'm sorry you made it sound weird!" I snapped, "anyway, I don't need a babysitter-"
"Superviser" he corrected.
"Whatever, I'm a grown woman and I can make my own decisions" I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair for what felt like the hundredth time today.
"Clearly your decisions suck" he sighed, "if they didn't I wouldn't be here with you"
"Meany" I pouted as I crossed my arms over my chest.
"I'll drop you off your class" he said as he walked out the office and waved at me to follow him.
"You don't have to" I muttered under my breath. Annoying Bastard thinks he can boss me around.
"What do you have now?" He asked.
"G.O.F.U.C.K.U.R.S.E.L.F" I spelled out.
"You brought us into this mess so you better just let me handle it" he spat, clearly annoyed by my immaturity.
"I have Math" I sighed, accepting defeat, making Ryan smirk with victory.
"I have chemistry" he said, "I'll drop you off then I'll go to my class, I'll be at your class when the period ends so wait for me" he explained as we walked towards my class. My books were probably inside the class. Even though I am labeled as a 'rebel' I still want to get a good job for my future, I still don't know what though. I would make an awesome cop, or a lawyer, or a football commentator. I don't like being called a rebel either, I rather be called a 'person-who-never-follows-the-rules-when-times-get-boring'.
"Here we are, remember to wait for me okay" he waited for me to reply.
"Fine!" I sighed as I entered the class. All eyes were on me until some kid dropped his pencil.
The whole period went like a blur, once the bell rang I shot up from my seat and stuffed all my books into my bag, then I zipped it and ran out the class to avoid being called by Carter, but my plan failed when Ryan had caught my bag and stopped me from making my escape... sneaky jerk.
"I got a letter" he sighed as he let go of my bag, which I immediately took as a chance to run.
"Daniels! Get back here!" Ryan yelled from behind me giving me motivation to run faster. I bumped into kids and pushed the ocassional one into lockers but that didn't stop me! No, not the great Bryce Daniels... okay, I tripped on a nerd's shoelace and fell flat on my butt. It hurt.
"Finally... caught...l you" Ryan said in between pants as he held onto my arm and forced me to stand up.
"I hate you" I panted.
"Oh trust me the feeling's mutual"
"What's the letter about?" I asked as I patted my shoulders, wiping the imaginary dust away.
"It was a letter from the principal" he shoved one hand into his pocket and held my arm with the other. He's a smart one, "here" he said handing over a piece of paper to me.
Dear Mr. Carter,
Knowing that Ms. Daniels could be quite a handful we'll have to make you stay with her during lunch. Make sure she doesn't do anything bad. Pick her up and drop her to her classes. Just remember, this is only for 3 months. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you earlier, I wanted you kids out of my office.
Pricipal S. BrooksI crushed the paper in my Palm and let out a frustrated groan.
"Can't this guy just give me some free time" I yelled.
"Give you free time! I'm the one who got dragged into this mess because of you!" He spat, he seemed annoyed.
"Could I just go to the bathroom" I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair again.
"Fine" he said as we began walking towards the female bathroom. There's a window there so if I could just get out through it I could get rid of Ryan. That window will let me out to the gardens so if I go out from there I could get into the school through the back entrance and run to my locker, get my books and go to my arts and crafts class under three minutes tops which seems like the amount of time I have left. If that plan is ruined by someone in the bathroom then I'll beg them to go distract Ryan as I left. This doesn't seem too hard, well compared to my other missions.
"Daniels? Hellooo?" I saw a hand wave in front of my face which snapped me out of my focusing state.
"What?" I snapped.
"You're awfully quiet" he tilted his head and cocked an eyebrow.
"Nobody plans a murder out loud" I retorted, remembering a relatable post I found on the Internet.
"I saw that on the internet" he poked my nose, "We're here" he said as he pointed at the bright red door with a female stickman painted on it.
"Oh! I'll be back" I smiled as I slammed the door open to see no one else was here, which made my plan much more easier. Once the door was closed I walked towards the stall at the end of the room and opened the door and closed it to sound like I opened the stall got in and closed it. Then I tip toed my way towards the window which was not too far from the stall and slowly unlocked it's lock without making a big noise. Once it was unlocked I slowly lifted the window and kept my bag under it to keep it up. Then I put one foot out and as soon as I decided to put my head through I bumped it on the window which made me loose my footing and fall onto a flower bush. That is not comfortable by the way. The branches kept poking me from everywhere. I groaned as I slowly stood up and took my bag from under the window. I quickly ran and when I met a window I quickly crawled under it to avoid being seen. I continued my running after that and quickly came nearer to the back entrance. I slammed the door open (which was a bad idea because of all the attention I got) and ran down the hallway towards my locker. I looked at my watch to see I have approximately 1 minute more before the bell rings so I quickened my pace. When I reached my locker and exchanged books the door slammed shut and I saw a hand that belonged to none other than a very tired looking Ryan Carter, whoopie! (Note the sarcasm).
"Stop... doing... that" he panted as he collapsed into my arms with exhaust, causing me to drop him. Oops! (Note the sarcasm)
"Well then" I said as I slowly backed away.
"Get back here!" He yelled as he made an attempt to grab my foot but I quickly jumped back.
"Never in a million years" I stuck my tongue out and ran towards my class.
