Two Chimneys

I am trapped between two chimneys,

No longer can I fly.

I just watch the life which passes,

some birds on a gray sky.

On a second thought, it's not that gray,

A more complex colour is,

blue, white, black, transparent as life,

All a blending, they all neat.

The colours make a great picture.

The trees are shaking and they're living.

I live between two chimneys,

What is beyond this world I live in?

Should I stay here, warm and lazy?

Shall I break free and leave this cage?

Is there a fate or is it waiting?
