The family settled for dinner. "Mother,
Can I go to find uncle Samuel. I have to ask him something", asked Edward.
"I'm trusting you Edward. For some reason, I sense positivity in this journey, so go. Don't delay anything". Edward stood up and presented his mother a confident bow. Helped by Alonso, Edward hopped on his horse and drew in a heavy breath.
"You'll be fine Master Edward. I will be following you and I will not let anything get near you", confirmed Alonso. Listening to the conversation, Lady Luna rose her hand and said "my son Edward shall attend this journey alone". Alonso and Edward both looked at each other, perplexed. "My lady, he is far too vulnerable".
"No Alonso. One day, he will need to fight to save himself. I am simply getting him prepared at a young age and I believe in him". After hearing those words, Alonso backed away and looked at Edward. Edward was nervous and slowly set off towards the huge, silver gates. As they opened, the horse increased in pace and both Lady Luna's and Alonso's eyes followed him until he disappeared.
