The mysterious water

Chapter 14

We sat there talking about her dads side of the family. When it was about seven o'clock. We got ready for the funeral.

I but on my simple black dress the fell above my knees and stopped at my shoulders. I put on my plump black heels and put on my surfer bracelet. I left my hair style as it was and put on a little bit of make up.

    I put some mascara and some light pink lipstick and a little bit of my skinned eyeshadow.

    I looked at my self in the mirror. My long wavy blonde hair and my ocean blue eyes.

    " hey come on" Kayla was at the front door waiting on me. I looked at her she looked at me " you okay ?" I asked her she shook her head " no not really " I nooses I came to her and put my arm around her shoulder.

    We walked to the car ms. Pattern's van was out and it was gold colored. I opened the door and climbed into the back with Kayla we sat in the two middle seats. I saw ms. Patten come up and start the car. Shelly came running out wearing a black dress and black flats with her hair pulled back half and half but both sides braided back.

Molly came out with a black dress long sleeve and nude flats and a brown braided belt with her hair half up and half down.

They both got in the car and sat in the very back. I shut th door and ms. Patten started driving to the funeral home.

It tuck less then five minutes to get there but people were already there.

   We parked in the front. I got out first,Kayla,Shelly,and Molly got out after me.

    We walked in and saw a lot of people I know. I saw mr and mrs. Brown and some other town people.

    I saw seven men come in with the coffin with Kyle in it. Kayla ran to the front I followed her and saw them place him down. The me opened up the front part of the coffin and I saw Kyle's face.

    It was pale his eyes were closed and his hands were payed next to his body.

       He was wearing a black tusk and a white long sleeve buttoned up shirt with a black tie. His shaggy brown hair was combed to the left side.

      " he was a good guy " I heard some one behind me I looked and saw Patrick. Kayla looked and saw him " nice of you to show up" I heard Kayla said he looked at her then back at Kyle.

    " yeah well Kyle was a friend also so I had to come " he told her. I looked at Kyle's body it saddened me to see him how could he had died Kayla said something killed him but I don't know what thing she could be talking about.

" I wish he was still " I said " yeah" I heard Kayla say. " yeah he was really good playing football with me" I heard Patrick say.

" okay I think we are done looking at him and let other people have a look" I said I turned around and saw ms. Patten seating in the front row crying. I looked at the sight reserved. The right side was Family the left was close friends.

" hey Kayla can I sit over there in the close friends?" She nodded " there is a list right there to who can sit there my mom made it " I nodded I sat down in the front and looked at the list.

Why would ms. Patten put Patrick on this list. Molly and Shelly came and sat on my right next to the middle.

I looked at the door and saw Kayla's other brothers wearing a black tusk and black pants with another boy that was pale and thin a little muscular he had pitch black hair that was a little messy and dark brown eyes. He looked around my age he was wearing a black tusk and a black shirt with black pants. He was wearing a ring with a skeleton on it.

I saw this other person come in with them it was a man around 56 or so he was in a wheelchair and hade a blanket over his legs. He hade a brown beard and brown shaggy hair his eyes were blue and was normal toned.

They walked toward ms. Patten and Kayla they both stood up and hugged them. Kayla hugged the boy she hugged him a little longer then her brothers or the man. Kayla looked over to me and waved her hand for me to come over there.

I stood up and walked over to were they were. They saw me Kayla looked back and forth. " okay Will, Austin, Nico , um Howard..." She looked at the man making sure she go his name right he nodded then she kept going " meet my best friend Coral ,Coral this is Will ,Austin ,Nico ,and Howard " I nodded Will shook my hand first then the rest.

" okay Will Austin you sit with us and Nico and Howard you guys sit with Coral" Kayla said I lead them to were we sat Nico sat at the other end so he could sit next to Howard. I sat back next to Shelly. I saw Megan Real sat in between me and Nico.

I saw more people sit down and get settled. I looked to Kayla who looked to me. She looked like she was about to cry.

I saw someone sit next to me and I knew who it was I didn't even want to look at him.

I looked forward to were the the person who was talking and doing the funeral.
