Okay so after you tripped and fell on top of Hayes and the football game was over, everyone would go inside for something to eat, and naturally you would sit next to Hayes. His mother and everyone else would keep giving both of you knowing looks while they were talking about sports or something, you weren't really paying attention. Hayes finally asked if he could talk to you and you eagerly nodded, because who wouldn't? When you both got out onto the back porch, he turned around and you tripped, again, and he caught you, holding you around the waist tightly and his eyes got super huge because this was the second time this had happened today and you smiled slightly, encouraging him a little bit and he smiled too, but much bigger than yours and he ducked his head down to kiss you and finally he did, and as he pulled back, he whispered super quietly "I-I think I'm in love with you," and you would nod and smile super big and whisper back, "I'm pretty sure I'm in love with you too," and then his whole family and everyone would come out and clap at you and you guys would laugh and hug because he just told his best friend/one true love his biggest secret ever and I can't stop picturing sweet, vulnerable Hayes and I don't understand anything
