Imagine your friend persuading you to come to a New Years party at the last minute but you have enough time to dress up and do your makeup until you have to leave. When you get there you see a lot of people from school, including Charlie Jackson, who you had talked to a few times before but not enough to know him. He saw you and went completely speechless because he thought you were hot and he had never seen you like this, so happy and carefree with your friends. The DJ started playing your favorite song, and you followed your friends out onto the dance floor. Charlie saw you, and then he saw another group of guys looking at you, and one of them came up to you and started flirting. Charlie would get so jealous because he saw you first so when you walked away to get away from that weird guy, Charlie caught you and he talked to you for a little while. Eventually you both were laughing so hard that you were crying and then both of you realized that people had started the countdown to midnight and when they cried out "ONE!!!!" Charlie was super arrogant and leaned over and kiss you and when he pulled back he grabbed your hand and declared that you were now his girlfriend but what you didn't know was that Luke, the guy who had liked you since forever and Charlie's enemy had seen the whole thing and had had no one to kiss at midnight but he had wished that it would have been you, because it's always been you.
