I woke up the next morning and stretched my arms. Today was a new day. I walked up to my mirror and jumped back at the horror that lied before me. 

"Wow Alyssa! You really need cleaning up." I muttered to myself, grabbing my beauty products and my clothes. I left my room and grabbed a fluffy white towel from the closet next to the bathroom. Just as I was about to head in to take a shower, Ed bumped into me and looked shocked. 

"Alyssa! The barbecue starts in two hours why aren't you ready?" He asked.

"What?!"I exclaimed in surprise I must have slept in and ran to the bathroom to start a super speed morning routine. 

Once I showered, shaved, brushed my teeth and did my make up, I dried my hair and styled it into a side fishtail braid. I managed to do this with an extra fifteen minutes to spare (I am super girl!!!), so I decided to watch Connor Franta while I waited for the boys to arrive. 

Soon, one by one the doorbell started to ring. I opened the door for five people already. How many people had he invited? By the time twenty seven people came, I knew Ed lied to me. Yeah I don't think this is "A couple of friends". I heard the bell ring once again and I just gave in and said to myself You know what? This is the last time I am answering the damn door. I walked up and opened it and my heart started beating rapidly and butterflies exploded in my stomach. It was the boy from yesterday. 

"Umm can I come in?" He asked. I realized I was standing there frozen like a statue and blushed red from embarrassment.  

"Oops sorry." I said and let him in. 

As I lead him to the patio, he interrupted my thoughts of basically what to do and what to say.

"I assume your related to Ed?" He asked.

"Errmm I think so.." I said What the hell Alyssa you think so? I mentally scolded myself.

"Cool! I'm Shawn Mendes." He said smiling.

"I'm Alyssa Sheeran." I said without fumbling.

Once we got to the patio, I left him there and ran to my room to explode with happiness. At this point, the butterflies in my stomach were doing whole cheer routine. Once I finally calmed down, I walked back downstairs and decided to eat. I grabbed some muffins since they were my favorite and sat down on the tire swing I hung up on a tree when I was little. 

"Hey again! Umm are you gonna eat all those muffins?"Someone said I looked up to see shawn again. And just then realized I had seven of them on my plate. 

"Probably not. Want one?" I asked handing him a chocolate chip one.

"Yes please" He said accepting it.

"Muffins are my favorite." 

"Me too! But you know what I really hate? Tomatoes!" I said cringing in disgust.

"YES! Me too they are so gross and resemble slime!"He said laughing.

Gosh he's so cute 

"Well then we must be clones or something. What else do you like?' I asked 

"Well I love Harry Potter. I'm a Gryffindor." He said grinning from ear to ear.

"Oh seriously? I'm in Slytherin." I said smirking.

"How? You're so nice." He replied in confusion.

"I have a dark side you know." I said tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

"And you know Merlin himself was in Slytherin?"

"What the hell? How? People are turning into Slytherins help!" He replied 

I shook my head at his adorable immaturity and chuckled.

"Oh Gryffindors."

"Hey-" He started, but he was interrupted by ed who announced something.

"I would like to say that i am very thankful for your support and......KARAOKE TIME!!!"
