Calvin's POV
I quickly took a glance at the audience that was watching us at the moment.
There were so many people I recognized and others I barely knew, but they all came here for a purpose and they seemed to have the happiest smiles one could see.
I turned back to face the guy who managed to steal my heart, only it was kinda more like an accident. More like my heart managed to fall into his pocket.
I smiled as I remembered when we first saw each other after 3 years. It wasn't quite how I pictured we would meet again, but it had worked out in the end.
Nothing could be better than this moment right now.
"Do you, Derek, take Calvin as your husband and will be there with him for the rest of your life?" spoke the priest.
Derek smiled at me, "I do."
Derek and I weren't that much of a religious group, but our parents ended up convincing us to get married through the church after the anouncment of gay marriage being legal now.
"Do you, Calvin, take Derek as your husband, and will be there for him for the rest of your life?" continued the priest.
I smiled back at Derek, "I do."
"I now pronounce you two as husbands, you may now kiss." The priest said with a wide smile.
And we did.

Derek's POV
It's now been over a year since me and Calvin got married through the church.
Everything went great after that. We both moved together into our own house just a few blocks away from our parents' house, we both got great jobs, and we both haven't gotten any real problems for a long time now.
Ding Dong.
"AHHH." came the screams of two little boys in a distant, getting closer by the second.
Oh, did I forget to mention that we also adopted two adorable little boys who are twins?
I could hear as Calvin opened the front door to see who had rang the doorbell.
"Derek, can you bring the kids to the front door? There's somebody here that wants to see them." Calvin screamed so I could be able to hear him from across the house.
"Coming!"
I grabbed the hands of the two boys and I made our way towards the front door.
"Uncle Mike!" The two boys screamed in unison as they ran towards our old friend Mike.
"Hey little guys! You guys have grown so much since the last time I saw you!" Mike talked to Steven and Josh.
"Come on now," I told the kids, "Get inside before one of you guys get sick getting us all sick." I said jokingly.
"But Dad!" They said joking as well.
"But Dad!" Calvin mocked the boys.
"Ok, well if you guys aren't going to invite me in, I guess I'll just get going." Mike said with annoyance.
"Oh, right, right," Calvin said, "sorry about that. Come on in." He said as he held the door wide open to welcome him.
"Thank you." Mike responded while he gave Calvin a hug as he walked in.
Ding Dong
"Oh I'll get that," I told Calvin, "you two go to the kitchen and start getting ready before we can start our Christmas dinner."
"Ok, hurry back." Calvin said as he winked at me.
I winked back at him, smiling, just as he went through the door way to the kitchen with Mike.
Calvin and I changed a lot these past few years, we've grown closer and more comfortable with each other and we don't mind holding hands as we walk down the streets.
That is why I fell in love with him, and just a year ago, he made me the happiest guy in the world when we got married.
Who proposed first? Calvin.
Knock knock knock.
Right the door.
I opened the door and it was Gina, Calvin's best friend in the world.
"Oh hi Gina. Calvin is in the kitchen with Mike, you can head on over there right now if you want."
"Ok. Thank you Derek, oh and here," she said as she handed me to small boxes that were wrapped in gifting paper, "I got something small for the kids.
"Thank you so much! The boys are going to go wild unwrapping these."
As soon as I closed the door and was making my way to the kitchen, the doorbell went off again and I knew exactly who it was.
As I opened the door, Nicolas' face was revealed.
"Nicolas! I'm so glad that you could make it!."
A little over a year, Nicolas had came to his senses and apologized to us as to what he had caused us to go through.
After that, Calvin invited him to our wedding, with my consent of course, and he didn't try to ruin our wedding!
Not that I was expecting him to do so...but I was glad that he had changed as well.
"Hey Derek! I brought some red wine." He said shaking a bottle on his hand.
"Come on in," I said motioning inside the house, "Just don't go overboard, you're your own ride back home."
"Chill," he said, "It's only wine."
And with that, we made our way to the kitchen to start our dinner.
