i'm from not here.
i'm from far away stars
where me minus body
lingered in lazy.
i'm from stars with purplish bellies
that twinkle when they're tickled
and giggle when they wrinkle.
i'm from where entire oceans
are swallowed by
the smallest speck.
and the dreams!
i'm from inside a dream.
there i waltzed across clouds
and travelled between
worlds as i pleased...
until i was plucked out of eternity
and fixed in time
here, now
(maybe that's why i see
eternity in the here, now
maybe that's why sometimes,
when i look up at just the right time,
the sky moves and i'm graced
a glimpse of More
a breathless air of where i came from,
of where i'm promised to return...)
i miss home inside dream.
i miss where i'm from, not here.
don't you?
