"I'm SO excited about the first day of high school!" I said to my best friend Bailey as we got on the bus
"So am I" she said
"But what about Mitch?" I joked
"I hope that bitch doesn't ruin my life again!!"
I knew what she meant, I knew exactly... I was the only one she fully trusted and she told me what happened a few years back-- she was 11 and walking home from school when Mitch and his dad sexually abused her... She couldn't call the cops she was to scared to tell anyone and 2 months l8r I was the first to know.
She sighed.. I sighed then we laughed
We arrived at school and the first person we saw was Mitch... Mitch the bitch... I glared at him and he made a sexual smirk at me... No wonder why his nickname is Mitch the bitch....
We got to homeroom and the day went from there
We went home at the end of the day and I checked my Twitter status... I had 3 follows.... From Maggie, Sasha and some random guy whose username was Fredthefroggywoggy... I ignored that..... And thought.. Maggie and Sasha!! Holy crap I'm getting popular!!
I called Bailey and told her the news she had no idea what I was talking about for what I knew
I hung up and smiled to myself and sighed a happy sigh... I said to myself "the next thing that will happen is that Trent will ask me out.. Trent Houston asking out Samantha Humburg.. I laughed ... It'll never happen...
I checked my phone second guessing myself because it had coincidentally rung its -buzz-stop-buzz but turns out it was my mom saying
Mom- luv u hon but I hope u didn't forget the casserole
I wrote back-

I sat in my room thinking about Sasha and Maggie and Trent and possibly, the way things were going, Mrs. Trent Houston....
The doorbell rang I answered it and it was Bailey and I was surprised
She said " look holy shit hide me here Mitch and his Dad are there truck with a horn yelling 'Bailey... We know your out there but we need you right now' dude in friggin freaking out!!!"
I said "calm down" But how could I say a thing like that if I couldn't be calmed down?
We cried... right there in my mud room all the carpet and shows beneath us were wet when we were threw....
Soon she had to leave and I worried for her
And Maggie and Sasha were the next best thing that happened except when they got 'involved'
