Chapter 25- Fated Feelings

*Alexandra's POV*

I pull out my phone and walk to the door. "Alex, it's me! Hyosuke! Ohhhh... You were drunk when we met! I'm a friend of Enya's!"

I stop and look at him. "I'll ask Enya then."
"Go ahead!"
"Your awfully chipper for a man who was about to get a beating from a woman."
"You couldn't take me if you tried!"
"Reaaally?"
"Yep!"

I give a tiny smile and say "When I let Enya in and we talk, let's arm wrestle."
"Yeah! Let's do it!"
"Okay."

I open the door and Enya comes in. "I heard a scream! Are you okay!?" He asked then looked over at Hyosuke. "Who's this?" He asked and I look over at Hyosuke. He yelled "what!? Are you kidding!? Enya you know me!"
"Nope."
"Yeah!"
"Never seen you in my life."
"We use to work together!"
"Did we?"
"Your doing this on purpose!"
"Hahaha I totally am."

I push Enya's shoulder and walk over to Hyosuke. "Let's sit at the table and do this." I say and he nods. Enya seemed confused as we walked to the table. We put our arms on the table.

I look at him in the eye and start to talk. "Ready..."
"Set..."
"Go!" We both yell and I pushed his arm over. Enya starts laughing. "Hyosuke! You were beat by a girl!" I glare at him. "Do you think you can beat me?" He walks over at pushes Hyosuke off the seat and I flinch.

He grabs my hand.
"Ready... set... go!" He says and I push as hard as I could against Enya's arm. It was slow but soon I was able to push his arm down. "Your pretty strong!"
"Mhm."
"Oh Alex, I have to talk to you."
"Okay... What about?"

He suddenly turned serious. "What we talked about earlier."
"Oh-- have you decided?"

He nods at my question and I listen intently.

"I want you to be... My assistant." He said and I was taken aback by what he said. I smile anyway. "Okay. I'll talk to Ann tomorrow." I say and walk towards the door. "Where are you going?" Enya asked and I walk out the door responding "home."

I close the door and go to my apartment. I walk into the living room and stop as I clutch my chest. I felt utterly crushed. "Why... It was his choice... I'm happy with whatever he chooses but..." A single tear dropped into the floor and I fall to my knees.

"... Why am I crying...?" I ask myself and tears streamed down my face and and I clutch both my hands into fists by my chest and slouch towards the ground.

I hear a knock at the door and I hear a voice.

"It's Hyosuke. Can I come in?"
