The Eevee Song

At home

Leaf pov
Ash was still whining next to me, complaing all the way home.
"Why won't you battle me!" Ash asked, "I'm just as strong as Drew or Paul."
"Thats great Ash, I'll be watching your battle with May." I muttered.
"No way! You gotta battle me! Please!" Ash whined.
"What about Gary? Why won't you battle me or Gary!" Ash asked.
"I can't fight everyone. I do 2 and May does 2. Don't worry May is very strong." I tried to reason with him.
"Please! It wont be and Eevee badge of I don't fight every gym leader." Ash said. This idiot was seriously getting on my nerves. We were walking towards the Eevee gym now.
"Well nobody else is complaining." I pointed out.
"Please!" Ash yelled. I felt anger bubbling up my chest. It didn't help that Dawn and May were giggling.
"You want a battle." I snarled.
"Yes, please!" Ash begged.
"You can have one." I walked towards the battlefield and threw a pokeball in the air.
"Leafeon, I chose you!" I said, the grass pokemon appeared saying its name and landed in front of me. Ash and the others watched Leafeon with surprise.
"I didn't think she would start with an Elite Crew." May murmured.
"Thats an Elite Crew?" Gary asked.
"Sure is." Dawn clapped.
"Pikachu! I chose you!" Pikachu ran into the battlefield and stopped in front of Ash.
"You can start." I told him.
"Okay! Pikachu, Thunder Bolt!" Ash yelled.
"Pika Pika Pika CHU!" With a flash, a bolt of thunder shot towards Leafeon.
"Leafeon, Light Screen and then Energy Ball!" I commanded. The verdant pokemom cried its name as a shield of light appeared in front of it, blocking the bolt of lighting.
"Lea-fee" Leafeon opened its mouth, green light charging together to form a ball.
"ON!" The ball of energy shot towards Pikachu, green energy flowing and sparking occasionally.
"Pikachu, dodge it!" Ash yelled and pikachu jumped towards the side, the Energy Ball missing it.
"Pikachu, Quick Attack!" Ash commanded.
"Pika!" Pikachu ran heading towards Leafeon, disappearing from time to time because of its speed.
"Aerial Ace!" I said, and Leafeon began running at incredible speed towards Pikachu, glowing slightly. The two of them crashed into each other head on, causing a big explosion. When the smoke cleared, Pikachu winced in pain while Leafeon snarled her name.
"Pikachu, Iron Tail!" Ash yelled.
"Pika!" Pikachu stood up and jumped, his tail glowing silver.
"Leafeon, Iron Tail as well!" Leaf commanded.
"Le!" Leafeon's tail glowed silver as well and the verdant pokemon jumped high, spun backwords, slamming her tail onto Pikachu's back. Pikachu crashed into the ground crying its name.
"Leafeon, Razor Leaf!"
"Lea-fe-on!" Leaves spun and shot towards Pikachu, crashing into him as the electric pokemon tried to stand.
"Pika!" Pikachu cried in pain.
"Pikachu!" Ash yelled worriedly.
"Lets finish this off, Leafeon Leaf Blade!" Leaf commanded. The middle leaf on Leafeon's head glowed green and she ran towards Pikachu, jumping high than spinning to slam her leaf on his back once more.
"Pika!" Pikachu yelled as it smashed into the ground.
"Pikachu!" Ash yelled and he ran towards the battle field. The dust cleared and Pikachu lay on the ground, fainted.
"Pikachu is unable to battle, the winner is Leaf, the gym leader!" Misty called. Leaf smirked and reached down to rub Leafeon's chin before returning it to it's pokéball. Budew was in her arms, happily crying it's name.
"Tell me when you want another battle, Ash." Leaf said, smiling slightly.
In Misty's Azurill, May's Vulpix and Dawn's Swinub squealed excitedly and met up Leaf's Budew in the middle of the battle field where Ash held Pikachu.
"Azu-Azu-Azurill." Azurill squeaked as it bounced on it's tail.
"Swi-Swinub." Swinub snorted.
"Vul-Vulpix." Vulpix cried.
"Buddew-Budew." Budew sang. May walked over to where Ash sat and kneeled next to him. She pulled out a Hyper Potion and gently sprayed Pikachu, healing the electric pokemon. Vulpix stepped shyly from behind May's legs and gently sniffed Pikachu. Pikachu twitched and Vulpix immediately hid again. Azurill and Budew were now playing tag, Swinub dozing next to Vulpix.
"Vulpix is a little shy," May smiled, "but with a little help from Flareon, she can overcome her timidness." May pulled out a pokeball and with a flash, Flareon appeared next to Vulpix.
"Wow, a Flareon." Ash said.
"Fla-Flareon!" The fire pokemon called. Flareon stepped foward, happily purring its name as Ash rubbed it's chin. Flareon brushed past May's legs and licked Vulpix's forhead. It nosed Vulpix foward gently, purring affectionately.
"Vulpix!" Vulpix shook its head shyly and wove itself around May's leg. Flareon nosed it foward once more and this time Vulpix shyly greeted Pikachu and Ash. Vulpix leaped into May's arms while Flareon circled her. She walked away towards Leaf and they talked, small smiles on their faces. Flareon watched Vulpix, Budew and Azurill while Dawn picked up her sleeping Swinub.
"Any of you guys ready to battle?" Misty asked.
"Yeah. Me," Gary flipped his hair. Misty turned to look at May and Leaf who merely nodded back.
"Alright then. You against me," Misty smiled and stood at on edge of the battlefield. Dawn pulled a wrench connected to the wall and the ground began to shake. The battlefield split in two and a water field emerged from the ground. Misty grabbed a pokeball and clutched it tightly.
"Ready to learn what real water-type pokemon are capable of?" She challenged.
