Dan:

'That guy in your Chemistry class you sit behind, he seems like a nice guy.' Dan says to you. The two of you are sitting on a park bench on a freezing cold winter morning, all because Dan said he wanted to talk to you. You knew it was something extravagant for a friend to do, especially one who liked sleep like you, but you knew he would do the same and more if you needed him. You expected for Dan to have girl problems, he always seemed to. He wasn't particularly popular at school, but everyone liked him and the girls certainly did and Dan noticed them too. But never you, he had never looked at you the way he looked at other girls, because you are his best friend, and that's exactly how it was going to always stay. He actually wanted to talk about getting you a boyfriend. You always 'moan' about wanting one according to Dan. So there you both were, discussing which guys you would go out with. He was oblivious to the fact he was the only boy you ever wanted. You stare blankly at the grass, making an occasional mumble as some sort of a reply. 'Oh! My friend Jack! You know the one that I introduced you to at the Christmas party. He seems like your type.' Dan offers. You sigh and roll your eyes, wanting him to see the obvious, to feel how you did. You give in, 'Maybe you're my type.' You say, looking away after saying it. Dan blushes, looking down and covering his face with his hand. 'Wait, are you serious?' You can hear his smile in the way he talks. You nod and purse your lips. He gently turns your face towards his, so your noses touch. 'It's been you all along.' You say. Dan leans in to kiss you. When your lips meet your whole body is warmed from his embrace. You never want it to end, it's what you had been waiting for, for so long.

Phil:

Phil had always been there for you, no matter what. That's why when you broke up with your boyfriend Phil was the first person you came to for comfort. He talked to you about it for a while, but decided what you really needed was a good hug. What he didn't know was that your feelings for him was the reason you broke up with your ex-boyfriend. You've liked him since the moment you met, but your feelings grew stronger with time, and right now, in his warm, comforting embrace you felt them more than you ever had before. He pulls away from the hug and looks deep into your eyes, sensing something wrong. 'Y/N..Are you okay? Apart from the inevitable break-up pain obviously.' He asks, with concern in his voice. You bite your lip and swallow, unsure if you should say anything. You swallow your pride and take the chance, 'Not exactly. There's a reason we broke up..You.' You say, shakily. 'What do you mean?' Phil asks, confused. 'I love you Phil. I always have done.' You say, looking up to see a smile spreading across his face. 'You do?' He asks, like and excited five-year old. You nod, and he leans in towards you, stopping as if you ask for your approval. You lean in also and your lips meet. He kisses you passionately. Your lips part and you're left breathless with tingling lips. You knew this was going to be the start of something much better than your friendship.
