Chapter 6

I woke up sweating and panting. The dreams about Zayn and I were becoming more frequent. I barely remembered last night, so I began to wonder if we had consumed alcohol.

I just remembered that Zayn went upstairs immediately after we picked him up, and Louis, Liam, Harry, and Niall played Fifa on the X-Box from 9:00 a.m. until late into the night. It was a crappy day out anyway, so we really hadn't the need to do anything outdoors-y. I sat up in bed.

"I must've had a few shots," I grumbled to myself, taking my phone off the charger. The date in the corner was March 13, 2012. I felt that there was something significant, but....I couldn't place it. So I shot Niall a text.

To Niall: *why do I feel like something big happened a couple days ago??? what am I missing???*

From Niall: *birthday kiddo. thought we shouldn't celebrate. wouldn't want to get too rowdy ;)*

To Niall: *birthday???!!!! I'm 19????? woo hoo*

I had turned nineteen three days ago...I was nineteen! I couldn't believe it. I didn't feel like I was nineteen; I still felt like a child. I felt like I didn't know what I was doing or where I was going.

I went downstairs and again was the first one up. I saw a spoon and I felt a wave of dizziness come upon. There was nothing I could do to stop myself from falling.
-
"Spoons? Spoons?!" Louis exclaimed. "WHY CAN'T IT BE SOMETHING SENSIBLE? LIKE, ERM...SHARKS? OR WATER?" Louis teased. I cracked up, along with Harry and Niall.

"Spoons," Liam confirmed.

"You're nuts!" I said, tousling his hair. Harry then put his hands together in an awkward, bowl-like gesture.

"Harry why are you making a cup with you hands?" Louis asked, and the look on his face made me feel like he was gonna say something sassy.

"I'm trying to make a spoon!" Harry seg ended himself.

"You're an idiot. I'm completely questioning the existence of this band right now," I rolled my eyes, laughing.

"You're just jealous you're not in the band!" Lou exclaimed, pursing his lips, and I flipped him off playfully.
-
I saw the shadow of a figure in front of me. It looked like Niall, but I couldn't tell.

"Ni?" I asked, squeezing my eyes open and shut.

"Yeah. So what was that fall about?" he asked worriedly. "Memory?"

"Yeah. Liam and the spoons," I said, chuckling slightly, rubbing my forehead.

"I have a great idea," Niall laughed. He took all the spoons from the cabinets. There were twenty one spoons in all. Niall and I each got ten, while we dressed the last like a king. We had a little paper crown and all. (I know. We sound totally insane)

"King Spoon...nice!" We high-fived and snuck up to Liam's room.

"Oh Liam, it's Leo-o-na. Leona Lewis!" Niall called out in a falsetto voice.

"Hold my spoons for a sec," I said, giving them to Niall.

"3, 2, 1!" Liam started screaming as Niall rubbed spoons in his face.

"You...you...THAT WASN'T NICE!" He screamed. "Oh, hi Liz." I played all innocent as Niall took out King Spoon.

"It's KING SPOON!" Niall yelled. I hugged Liam.

"Awww, poor baby. Why would you do such a mean thing?" I asked.

"But you...I...we did....!" Niall shook it off and started laughing.
