OLIVIA
Once we're in the car, we're speeding off. Harry has me wrestle with the cover on the jeep while he drives so we can prevent everything getting completely soaked once we're out of the trees. I finally get it latched on, but only on my side. I practically have to lay in Harry's lap to get it latched on his side.
"What the hell is happening?" I finally ask as I relax into my seat.
"General William sent two of his men. He knew you were there at some point."
"Okay? Then why didn't we just stay there?"
"There's still a man inside that house. I knocked him unconscious while he was trying to stab me with a knife. He knew you were somewhere inside."
"What about the other man? What happened to him?"
"He was a prisoner being held by General William. I smashed his ear piece and microphone and then we talked about what was happening. He said he would tell William that you were there but moved on. I told him I would let the kingdom know that General William captured people and is now using them against their will. They all have trackers on them. He's making men fight against their own country."
I hide my face in my hands and sigh. This whole situation was getting more and more complicated. "What now?"
"We drive for another hour and then call Christopher. Assuming he doesn't call us first."
As if on cue, the screen pops out of the dash and Chris is on the screen, along with some more of the palace staff. "What the hell are you two doing?!"
Harry tells him everything he just told me. Christopher looks and looks for another safe house and isn't having any luck.
"My sister lives about three more hours north and there's a bungalow that's really hidden on the property. What if we crash there for a night and discuss future plans later?"
Chris sighs and nods. "That'll have to do for tonight. The conditions outside aren't great for you guys to be out for much longer. Can you get there quicker than three hours?"
"I can get us there in about half the time, yeah," Harry replies.
"Alright. Be safe. Let me know if anything else happens. And I'll get started on looking into the prisoner situation."
"Thanks, Chris," I wave goodbye and the screen disappears again. I turn to Harry and notice that his skin is turning purple around the big cut in his cheek. His hand is bleeding majorly and I can tell both are hurting him a lot by the look in his eyes. I dig around in my bag and unbuckle my seat belt once I find what I need.
"Olivia, buckle up. I'm going too fast."
I ignore him and reach over the centre console, angling my body so I can get to his injury better. He cringes as I dab around the cut to clean up the blood. "M'sorry."
"It's alright," he says softly, a small smile on his face to show he's okay.
I tape some gauze on his cheek and his hand, since there wasn't much else I could do until we got to our final destination. It would at least keep the blood contained.

Once we arrived, Harry was slow to get out of the car. He was extremely tired and seemed to be dreading going to the door of wherever we are. Eventually he went over and knocked while I stood behind him silently.
When the door opened, Harry was tackled in a hug and stumbled back into me slightly.
"You're alive! Where the bloody hell have you been for the past four years?!"
