Chapter 1 The Crash

*YOUR POV*

One day you're just sitting on the couch at yours and Luke's apartment. Your favorite romance movie is on and all you can think about is how much you miss Luke since he went on tour. As it gets later in to the evening and your movie has just ended you feel your phone buzz in your pocket. You open your phone to see a text message from Ashton that says Luke's been in a car accident. Instantly, you text him back,"OH MY GOD, IS HE ALRIGHT!?" As you rush to your room and start packing. You have already put together a plain to get a cheap flight and go out to see Luke. Ashton texts back,"y/n, I'm not sure. We're in the emergency room right now but Luke isn't responding to anything. You better get down here, quick!" Just by these words you start to panic and can feel the tears starting to role down your cheeks. You get the rest of your stuff and run to your car. While you're driving you text Ashton,"I'm on my way to the airport now! Be there in about 5 hours!" But right after you hit send he texts,"And don't get a plane. Calum's already sent out a private jet to come get you at the airport." Relieved that you don't have to worry about money for a flight, you text Ashton,"Okay. Got it. How long will it take to get there in the private jet?" "About 3 hours. Y/n, be careful. The boys and I are already scared enough with Luke. Don't make us have to come out there and see you too.;)" Ashton replies.
30 minutes later, you arrive at the airport. You see the small private jet over on a runway. You park your car, grab your bags and rush to the jet. Once you've gotten on the plane, you immediately text Ashton,"I'm on the plane now. Thanks. How's Luke?" After about 10 minutes of anxiously waiting for a reply, Ashton finally texts,"He's just woken up. He's in and out of consciousness but every time he wakes, he mumbles your name." With this, you begin to cry. You can't stand the thought of Luke wanting you there but knowing that you won't see him for another 2 hours.
Two hours later you arrive at the Portland airport. You see a black van outside your window and see Calum standing by it. Once you're out of the plane you jump into Calum's arms with tears in your eyes. "Hey, y/n! Are you alright?" Calum asks,"Yes...um... I'm fine," as you wipe away a loose tear,"I'm just... How's Luke? Is he alright!?" You start to panic again. "Yes, yes. He's doing fine. He's now fully awake but he's on a lot of drugs so he might not recognize you at first." You just nod and get into the car with Calum and drive to the hospital. You get in there and see Mikey standing there, looking scared as hell,"Y/n! Oh my God, are you okay?" He asks,"I'm fine, but are you? You look scared to death." "Yeah, yeah, I'm alright, just nervous." He replies. Calum and Mikey lead you to the room Luke is in. You see Ashton sitting in a chair out side of the room,"Hey. Don't go in there. I had to call someone to help him." "Oh my God, Ashton, what happened!?" You start to freak out,"I don't know," Ashton says,"He just... Luke just went crazy. He started screaming and punching the bed. He was yelling your name and he bit his lip so hard that he started bleeding. They won't let me in and said to keep everyone else out too." At this you start to sob as tears pour out of your eyes. Ashton takes your hand and holds it tight. You just can't stand the thought of Luke sitting in there... All alone... Screaming your name and hurting himself. All of the sudden you see the door to his room open. You look up to see a nurse standing in the door way. The nurse says,"He's stable now. We got him to calm down and, hopefully understand what's happening. Who are you?" He asks you,"Oh, this is y/n. Luke's girlfriend." Calum answers for you. "Alright," the nurse agrees,"Now, boys, y/n... You may go in there. But give him some time to process who he's talking to and what's going on. He's  still in a bit of shock from the accident."
You nod and gulp down the rest of your tears and enter the room.
