Chapter 3 I Won't Give up

Hey, Kappa here! Thank you guys for reading my last two chapters, I hope they were good. ;) Now, this one is short and cheesy, but I think you'll like it! Enjoy!!:)
(YOUR POV)

The next morning you wake up to find all of the boys around you,"Hey, y/n. You alright? We're about to go and see Luke. D-Do you want to come?" Calum says. You wait a moment before nodding in agreement and sit up. The boys leave you to let you get dressed. After you're dressed, you walk downstairs and put your shoes on and head out to the car where the boys are waiting for you. After a few minutes of driving in silence, you all arrive at the hospital.
"Guys..." You say, capturing their attention,"... Did I hear you say that he w-was going to go over to his girlfriend's house over the phone? Who was he talking to?" The boys look at each other and then turn back to you,"Ummm. Well, we don't know. After he got off the phone he picked up a piece of paper and a pen and went to his room. After a few moments he came back out, hopped in his car, and drove off." Mikey explains. You sit there and think for a moment before saying,"No. Calum, turn around. We need to go back to the apartment for a minute." "But y/n, we're already-" "Now, Calum!" You interrupt. Calum just nods and turns the car around to head back to the apartment.
"Have any of you been in Luke's room since the accident?" You ask,"Uh, no. Don't think so." Ashton says. You get back to the apartment and you instantly jump out and run to the door. You unlock it and race to his room, flinging the door open. You see a pen and paper sitting on his bed, but the paper has something written on it. It says,"I just called management. I asked them if I could go and see y/n for the week and they said yes. So I'm off to California for a bit. See you all later!" -Luke

You sit down and realize what all of this is. Luke WAS going to see his girlfriend.' ME! He was coming to see ME!' You tell yourself. Tears start to form in your eyes right as the guys come in."What is that?" Ashton asks. You hand him the paper and all three of them read it. Their jaws drop and they all look up at you. You're sitting there with silent tears rolling down your cheeks as you stare at your wrist. You cut yourself thinking that he didn't love you. When really, we was coming to see you. You look up and stand,"I have to see Luke. Come on, let's go!" You say, and run out of Luke's room. You jump into the passenger seat of the car and the boys all run out and hop in too. A few minutes later you're back at the hospital, running through the doors. You race up to Luke's room, but only to find that he's not there. You scan the room for any sign of him, but he's gone."Where's Luke?" Ash asks you,"I don't know. He's not here." You walk out of the room and look around. Mikey is already at a staff table asking about him. He comes back moments later and informs you that's Luke went into shock late that night and they are now trying to figure out what happened. You just stand there. You just look at Mikey blankly, feeling the blood leave your face. You feel dead. What happened to him?
After what felt like an eternity of just standing there, you ask, with all of your strength, what room he is in. The nurse at the staff table tells you what room he's in but that you'll have to wait another hour and a half before you can see him.
"What!? I can't wait that long! I HAVE to see him! NOW!" You yell at him,"Ma'am, please! We are doing all we can right now. Thankfully someone was with him when he went into shock. Please, you'll just have to wait a little longer." You calm down, take a deep breath and walk into the waiting room. The guys follow behind you.
While you wait, Calum plays with a little girl (not in a weird way, he's just passing time for whatever she's waiting for), Ashton sits in the corner reading and out-dated magazine, and you and Mikey are sitting on a couch."Y/n..." Mikey says,"What are the things you love most about Luke, all the little and big things?" A little surprised at this question you reply,"What do you mean? I love everything about him." He looks at you and says,"I mean specifically. Explain how you feel." You look back at him. What should you say? How can you explain your love for him. But, he wants to know, so, you sigh,"Well..." And start,"He... He makes me happy. He has... Ugh, just the cutest smile and giggle. His eyes are like the ocean. Big, blue and beautiful. When I'm cold at night, he'll feel my shivers and hug me tighter... And pull me closer. When I'm upset about something, even if it's him, he'll just say 'Come here, baby girl' and that cheap shit and make me feel better. When he makes a mistake he'll say he's sorry right away... And tell me he won't do it again. He smiles at me from across the room, he laughs at my stupid jokes, he holds my hand when we're out in public so the other guys will keep their distance. And when I'm having a bad day... His hugs from behind always, ALWAYS, cheer me up. He loves me more then I had ever imagined he would. When we first met, he smiled at me from his lunch table at Panara Bread. I was sitting alone and he came over to talk to me. We sat in there for almost 4 hours, just talking about our life's and hopes and dreams. Our fears and losses... Everything. I love him... More than he'll ever know. And more than I'll ever be able to express to him. I miss him more then the sun on a rainy day. I miss him more then rain in the dessert. I miss him more everyday. Because every day without him... My heart breaks a little more. Reminding me how much I love his smiles and sweet, kind, gentle self." You finish. You look around you, only just now noticing that all the people in the waiting room are looking at you. 'I guess I DID know what to say...' You think to yourself. Ashton's eyes are glassy with tears, Calum's jaw is basically on the floor, Mikey is hugging a pillow trying to cover his few tears, and everyone else is the same. They all look like they just finished watching the Titanic, tears and everything.
"I'm... Sorry..." You say, now feeling quite awkward and not liking all of the silence in the room at the moment. Ashton then opens his mouth to say something, but no words come out. Then the little girl Calum was playing with pipes up and says,"One day... I want to be in love with someone just as much as you do." You can't help but smile at her,"When you find love," You say,"The words I just said won't even come close to how you'll really feel. Because when you love someone so much, words can't describe it. They just don't do the trick in the laws of love." You say. She smiles at you, then continues to play with her dolls. Then, the nurse that was at the staff desk comes up and tells you that you can now see Luke. But to not expect an answer right away. You nod and get up with the boys right behind you.

Lol! Okay, as I said before, I know that that was SUPER cheesy, but this is a cheesy story... But with a few different twists to things. :P
