Should I trust again?

PUPPY!!!!!

*Jewel POV*

I came to Chrys's front door and knocked. I heard a squeezing noise somewhere nearby and I followed it. The noise became louder and louder and I came to a park and saw a cute puppy, shaking and whining.

I whistled and it looked at me. I quickly ran back to the house and just in time the door opened revealing Demi. "Hey Jewel!" She said with a fake smile. I didn't care of it was Demi, I mentioned her to follow me and she did.

I led her to the puppy and she picked it up. She knew it was a stray. We took the pup back to her house she gave the puppy a bath while I was playing with Chrys and her dolls.

I heard Demi was on the phone and after a while someone came through the door. Chrys and I were eavesdropping and apparently a vet came to check on the puppy I found.

"Okay there seems to be nothing wrong probably just scared of her surroundings and here is some dog food so she is healthy" the vet said. "Thank you" Demi thanked and the front door was opened then closed right after.

I walked down the stairs followed by Chrys and patted the puppy, "so guys what will you name her?" Demi asked with a smile on her face. I gasped and looked at Chrystal "she should be the third Gem!" Chrys nodded "Ruby" I said because her eyes looked like Demi's but a little but more red.

We all agreed on Ruby and we fed her and gave her some water. Chrys got up from the floor and ran to Demi "I love Ruby mommy!" She yelled happily and Demi picked her up and kissed her cheek. I frowned and looked down at the floor.

'I shouldn't have left Ari there', 'I would have been found if I stayed with her', 'I wouldn't have been taken back', 'all of this would have never happened and I wouldn't have been this sad' I said to myself.

Before I told myself anything else Demi sat right next to me and held her arms open, I wanted to reject it but her smile was infectious so I crawled into her embrace and I felt safe just like in Lauren's arms......

It's been a few hours and we were watching Disney movies together. We were watching The Lion Guard, 4th movies of The Lion King. It's is cool. When the movie ended I jumped up from the couch "I'm the fastest one!!!!!" Chrys jumped up "No I am!" She can run faster than me so, "okay I'll be the strong one" once I realized what I said I quickly changed "uhh nope I'm in keenest of sight!".

Demi looked at me curiously "why don't you want to be the strong one?" She asked. "Because I'm not strong enough to block all my negative thoughts out" I said truthfully, no more lies. She frowned.

I knew Chrystal wasn't listening because she started playing with Ruby. I climbed back on the couch sitting on my knees. Demi picked me up and sat me on her lap "Jeweliana I can see your hiding something from the world, can you tell me what it is?" She asked.

Should I trust her again? Ugh!!
No. More. Lies. Jeweliana!!!

"I-I umm" she wiped my tears away. 'I AM CRYING!?'. I looked at her and her eyes were begging for me to say something. "I-m de-pressed" I hiccuped and she hugged me again.

I felt so safe in her arms again, it feels like I'm four again. She let go and looked into my eyes. "Please don't tell me you started" she said and I just nodded.

*Demi POV*

I can't believe this. She self harms!!!! Why did I ever take her back! I should never have don't that! This is all my fault! I'm the worst person in the world! I don't know what to do anymore. I am the cause of her self harming!

I saw Jewel wipe the tears away that I haven't noticed that fell. "Demi I know what your thinking and you didn't do anything wrong, I promise" she fake smiled and hugged me. I smiled (like a real one). It feels like I have my babygirl back, but it's not really true.

I wish I could have her back but I basically ruined her life. She shouldn't be self harming! Not now, not ever! No one should feel alone! No one should hurt them self at all! I don't know what to do anymore..........
