Prologue:

Ethan closed the door slowly. He's tired from the long flight just to see her. He lazily looked around wondering where she is. He noticed the balcony is open. He placed his traveling bag on the sofa and slowly walked to the balcony. He knows she's there. She loves the sea breeze. She always said that the smell of sea makes her relax. And then he saw her. She was so beautiful in her white long nightdress, standing on the railing and facing the ocean. She looks ethereal and at that moment, he knows that image of hers standing there is forever imprinted in his heart. He hugged her tight and kissed her neck. "I missed you Kodaline". She faced him and she smiled sweetly. God, how can she be so beautiful even without the glamour he's used to seeing in the women he meets daily. "Ethan, you're finally here". He heard her whisper his name once more and she hugged him tightly. He knew at that moment, he's home.

He held her face and kissed her. Thank God she responded enthusiastically. He traced her neck with his kisses, seducing her. His hands traced her thighs slowly going up making sure that nothing was left untouched. He kissed her shoulder blades taking off her gown. He placed his hands on her butt and lifted her. She doesn't want Ethan to hear her sobs so she cried silently. For the past six months she spent with Ethan secretly were the best moments in her life. Away from his glitz and glamour, away from his reality. She was his dirty little secret and she accepted it wholeheartedly because she loves him so much. But it's time. Her job is done and it is time to move on. Without him. She wiped her tears and splashed water on her face. She promised that she will make the most out of this last day with him. She will create memories with him. She and Ethan will never be together in the real world. They are like oil and water, they will never make it through. He has obligations, he has commitments and she will never be a part of that. Ethan made it clear when they started this affair. Six wonderful wild months with him and she can never be happier. Ethan made her happy but it's time to let him go. She heard the knock outside the bathroom. "Babe, you locked the door. Let me in". She did. And they didn't go out until an hour later.

She cooked him breakfast while he keeps distracting her. They ate together, feeding each other. After, they changed into their swimming attire and went to the beach. Acapulco will always be special to them. They started their story here and she wants to end it here too. They spent the whole day wandering around the island, holding hands, kissing each other in the middle of the road. Ethan bought her a scarf in the souvenirs store. She embraced it tightly knowing that it will be their last.

They goofed around their room, their laughter could be heard outside in the corridor. The staffs are used to them. Every week the couple would come in here for the past six months, the woman always comes in first then the man comes in later. They never came together but they are the loveliest couple they have ever seen in the resort. Kodaline became friends with the staff, she would spend days in the island even after Ethan already left. Sam is her closest friend in the Island and Sam smiled sadly at the closed door not knowing if she will ever hear her friend laugh like that again after she completed her plan. She went inside her office and continued packing her stuff.

Ethan could feel that something is bothering Kodaline. For the past two days, she seems distracted but she remained sweet to him. He would sometimes catch her gazing into the distance thinking deep. He asked her what's bothering her and she would just smile sweetly at him and hug him. Yet he feels that behind that sweet smile that would always bring sunshine into his heart, there was sadness this time. He is bothered but just like always whenever they are here in their own world, he just let it go perhaps she is thinking about her new project. This is what he likes about her, she is very passionate about whatever she does. He knows she has a new project with his company. He smiled at the thought. Later that night, Kodaline was extra sweet and passionate towards him. He likes it. She even whispered "Remember that I love you" before they went to sleep.

Early in the morning while Ethan sleeps soundly, Kodaline silently crept out of their room, crying. It has always been Ethan leaving first in their six months tryst but now she wants to go first. She left a letter to Ethan on the bedside table telling him they are over and when they meet again, they are going to act like mere acquaintances and no more secret rendezvous. She thanked him for giving her the best six months of her life and she will forever treasure those moments with him. She told him she loves him one last time but she is moving on. They are over. Sam met her in the lounge area with her bags. Ethan never noticed that her luggage was not inside the cabinet on their last night together. She was crying and Sam hugged her tight.

"It's going to be alright ali. You are going to be alright. You and this baby will be alright. Let's go before he wakes up. The chopper is waiting for us already".
