Chapter 10

"Will Mommy wake up?" asks Macey. "I dont know darling. I hope she does." I say picking her up. LJ starts crying and hitting our spare bedroom door. "LJ come here." he started walking about a month before he turned one and won't stop hiding from us. "Mwommy!" he screamed and cried. I walk over and pick him up. "Shh. Its okay. You will see her, I promise."

I set him down in his crib and kiss his forehead. "Get some sleep buddy." I say. He looks up at me before laying down and slowly falling asleep. "Alright Macey. Bedtime." "Aww but daddy!" "No buts Macey, time for sleep." she may be 4, but she seems like she is 6.

"I miss you. Macey has been listening and helping out as much as her 4 year old self can. LJ screams for you twice a week. Donnie checks your stats everyday to make sure you aren't dying, and I visit whenever I am free. Sizay. When are you going to wake up and return to us?" I ask. She's been out for more than a year, and each day is complete agony. I kiss her forehead and look at her for a few seconds before heading to the door. "Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. OWWWW!" she yells. I run to her side and look at her. Her shell is still cracked and she's holding the place they cracked it. "Hold on. I'll get Donnie."

I run out the door and crash into Donnie's. I run my head as Donnie opens his door. "Are you okay?" he asks. "She's awake and complaining about her shell!" I said really loud in his face. "I had a feeling this would happen. I have made a medicine for her so it will heal and kill the pain for now." "Are you sure? Last time, your medicine made me like and a giant monster to emerge from the ground!" I say flailing my hands about. "I'm positive." he says and grabs the vile. He runs out the room right after me. "Alright, Sizay. Just take some of this, you'll heal up in less than a month." says Donnie. She drinks the entire vial and lays back down. "I recommend not getting up from bed. If you want your shell to heal, you need lots of rest." "Okay. Thank you." she says.

When Donnie leaves, I kneel down beside the bed and look at Sizayel as she does to me. "How long was I out?" she asks. "Over a year. You didn't miss much other than the kids birthdays." I said. "Oh gosh the kids!" she says. "I need to see them." she says with hope in her eyes. "Not yet. They are sleeping. Its night, you should sleep too." "Okay.." she says sadly. I kiss her forehead and walk out of the room. "I love you Sizayel." "I love you too Leonardo."

2 months later
She is finally healed up and getting to know our son more. We are finally happy. Nothing can get in ur way for a while at least. I love her so much. "Sizayel?" "Yes Leo?" "Have I told you how much I love you?" "Yes. I love you just as much." she says with her gorgeous smile. "No. I mean. I love you so much, I can't imagine life without you and the kids. You guys are my world, my dreams. I love you guys so much." "Leonardo. I love you too. You know that. Nothing will change that, and maybe one day, we'll finally be free from everything and happy." "Maybe one day." I say. This wasn't the end, that was for sure.
