Mabel's Point of View
I can't believe I gave up something that my brother was trying to protect just for a little more Summer! Now we're trapped in Bill's pyramid lair and it's all my fault. "Hey man, don't look so sad. You did what any kid would do if they were faced with growing up," Wendy said trying to cheer me up. "Yeah dood, we've all made mistakes," Soos said as their combined efforts put a small smile on my face. Then we heard Bill coming back, this time he had Dipper on a golden leash. Dipper was struggling and he was put in a separate cage with more protection spells on it. He looked mad and scared at the same time. "Now that we're all here I have an announcement! I'm going to turn your brother into a creature so it'll be easier to get him to do what I want. Right now all he does is shut his mouth and try to clear his head," Bill said frustrated. Dipper looked really scared as he thought about what he might be turned into. "What are you going to turn him into?" I asked scared for his well being. "Let's see just how smart you are shooting star. His cage has bars lined with silver and several enchantments that could hold a mountain lion. Those are your clues, now take a guess," Bill said gesturing to the cage. Dipper's face was even more terrified as her knew what Bill was going to do. The second he said silver a thought popped into my head. "You're going to turn him into a werewolf!?!" I asked shocked at what he might put him through. "Close but no. A werewolf doesn't have enough weaknesses to exploit! I'm going to turn your brother into...." Bill said as he snapped his fingers. Dipper doubled over in pain he started moaning in quiet agony. I saw his ears sharpen and grow fur, and a fluffy cat tail appeared from behind my crying brother. "If that made you cry, then wait until the full moon! It's going to feel like being turned inside out on the SUN!" Bill said laughing at my brother's pain. "SHUT UP!!" Dipper snapped exposing sharp fangs. "Temper temper. You werecats have such short fuses," Bill said waving his finger at my brother. All Dipper did in response to that was growl and look mad. His tail was flicking in annoyance, and I know enough about cats to understand that Dipper is about to lash out at someone or something. "Dipper why do your eyes look like that?" I asked, but he didn't answer. "Oh don't worry shooting star, they just do that when he's mad or running on pure instinct. Speaking of which you'd better cool it pine tree or else you might transform early because of anger, fear, stress, or some outside force," Bill said watching Dipper take deep breaths. Some of the fur on his arms went away but the rest of it stayed.
"Dipper, can you break the cage bars with werecat strength?" I asked getting an idea. "I could try, but I have a feeling that silver's going to be a problem," Dipper said getting to his feet. Bill had left to cause more mayhem so we had a chance to escape. Dipper grabbed the bars and pushed them outwards, but we saw steam coming from his hands. He almost did it but he let go and curled up into a protective ball. I heard him whisper "ow" several times but only I could hear it because I was the closest. "You alright Dipper?" Wendy asked noticing his distress. "My hands feel like their burning!" Dipper said in response as he tried to get up. The second he put pressure on his hands he fell right back down and curled up again. I felt so bad at causing him pain that I said, "I'm sorry for making a plan that would put you through this much pain Dipper." "I'm sorry for being stupid and forgetting what the silver bar did to the werewolf last week," Dipper said no doubt remembering a monster hunt. Before I could console him Bill came back in and noticed the cage. "Well well well, does pine tree want to get out? Well no dice! I'm going to try to convince you to come to my side and there are consequences for saying no," Bill said snapping his fingers. Bill was holding a police baton made of pure silver, and Dipper gulped as his eyes widened in fear. "Come on Bill what will that accomplish? Me hating you more?" Dipper said nervously as I could feel his fear. If just holding silver hurt him, how much would a beating do to him? Bill then replied, "Then you'd better join me before you die from the silver poisoning!" "I'll never join you!" Dipper said trying to look brave, but his puffed up tail showed his fear. "Suit yourself," Bill said smacking Dipper on his cheek with the baton, hard. Dipper winced but didn't scream, and we were able to see the burn. It looked like he had put a torch to his face and smacked himself with it, we all flinched at the sight of it. I saw him cry silently and Bill asked, "I can make the pain stop pine tree, you just have to agree to do what I say. You smart enough to give up?" "N-never, I must be an i-idiot then," Dipper said holding his cheek. "So be it!" Bill said as he whacked my brother's body several times. Dipper finally let out a scream when he got hit for the eighth time. "That's the spirit pine tree! Let's hear some more," Bill said preparing for another swing. "Please s-stop! I-I don't think I c-can take m-more," Dipper said as we saw him break into tears. "Are you willing to be my pet and do what I say?" Bill asked with his arm raised. Dipper didn't answer, he just looked at me with sad eyes wet with tears. "Dipper if it hurts that much then you should do it, we'll be alright," I said knowing he was doing this for us. "Yeah man, you could die," Wendy said clearly shaken by Dipper's boundless loyalty. "Dood, you seriously look like you could bleed to death," Soos said pointing out the puddle underneath him. "I can't.... I won't..." Dipper said looking back at Bill. Bill just sighed and grabbed a silver dagger. "You've got a strong resolve pine tree, it's annoying! But let's see how you deal with cuts. Those bruises will heal, but this will leave scars," Bill said happily looking down at my shaking and aching twin. He grabbed Dipper's arm and Dipper tried to struggle, but he was weak from blood loss. "Please," Dipper pleaded before Bill made a long deep cut along Dipper's right arm. Blood was dripping from the wound and Dipper screamed. Bill then cut Dipper's cheek and stomach, they weren't as deep as the one on his arm though. We gasped at the sight of his blood and I started to cry. Dipper closed his eyes and he wasn't moving. "Did he...." I asked quietly as Bill brought my brother's limp body to his eye. "Quit being such a drama queen, I know you're playing dead! Now stop faking or I'll cut shooting star," Bill said pointing the dagger at me. Dipper's eyes slowly opened, he was really weak. "Please... not Mabel. You can do whatever you want to me... but not Mabel," Dipper said weakly as he looked over at me. "That's enough for today, I'll close the wounds too. You'd better be grateful I didn't end your meaningless life!" Bill said as Dipper's wounds stitched themselves and healed.
He then threw Dipper in his cage and made the bars thicker and pure silver. Dipper was passed out on the floor of the cage and curled up in a ball of fluff and clothing. "Actually a thought just occurred. Pine tree wake up!" Bill said banging on his cage. Dipper woke up and glared at Bill, his teeth bared and his tail puffed up. "I know how you can pay your debt to me for healing those injuries pine tree. Here's my experiment, if the catnip doesn't affect you, I'll let you go. Otherwise you'll have to scratch yourself in front of shooting star," Bill said floating in between out cages. "Do I have a choice?" Dipper asked staring at Bill. "Nope, let the experiment begin!" Bill said as he snapped his fingers. Several branches of catnip appeared inside Dipper's cage. He backed up but was staring at it, eyes unblinking as he tried to not let it reach him. "What's wrong pine tree? Too hard to fight the instincts?" Bill asked mockingly, but Dipper ignored him. He got down on all fours and sniffed at it. His eyes went yellow like before and his body relaxed the second he did. His tail flicked contently and he completely ignored Bill's laughter. When he opened his eyes they didn't seem to have any human intelligence behind them. Dipper flopped on the floor and purred loudly as he chewed on a few petals. Bill couldn't stop laughing as Dipper lifted his head curiously and mewed. He looked adorable, but I knew now wasn't the time to pet him. "Why not shooting star?" Bill said reading my mind. He snapped his fingers and I was in Dipper's cage. He didn't pay much attention to me until I started to pet him. I couldn't help it I love cats. Dipper loved it when I scratched behind his ears. When I stopped he nuzzled his face into my hands and was still purring like a broken record, it was so cute. Finally he blinked and his eyes went back to normal. "Ugh, I feel really tired. Mabel, how did you get in here?" Dipper asked confused and probably sleepy. "You got high off catnip," I said bluntly watching him blush and look away.
"I'd hate to interrupt your embarrassment but you have to uphold your end of the deal pine tree," Bill said floating in front of my cage. "I never shook on it!" Dipper said angry with Bill for forcing him to do that. "You didn't have to now scratch yourself!" Bill said getting big and red. "FINE!" Dipper said as his claws appeared and he sliced his own arm. He let out a whimper but other than that nothing. "No crying, no screaming, no pain? What the Hell is wrong with you pine tree!" Bill said disappointed at my brother's lack of reaction. He just watched the blood drip from the cuts and I walked over to him. "After the beating I got this feels like nothing. And what scares me is, it feels like relief," Dipper said looking guilty. His wounds then started to heal on their own. "Why are you healing him if you want him to suffer?" I asked watching his arm be good as new. "Werecreatures can heal faster than humans if the wounds are non-silver related. But silver wounds take longer to heal than a human. Would you like me to stop healing him?" Bill asked about to snap his fingers. "NO!" Dipper screamed as he scratched himself again. "See it hurts this time! Just please don't stop healing me when you do the silver wounds," Dipper said completely unfazed by the fact he hurt himself TWICE! "Dipper why would you scratch yourself?" Soos asked looking concerned but less than Wendy. "Bill wants suffering I'll let him have what he wants. He could make this way worse and I know what he's going to do next. It's better to give him what he wants than to let him hurt you guys," Dipper said looking at the pool of blood on the ground. "If you're so smart then what am I about to do?" Bill asked as dipper grimaced. "You're about to beat me again because I told them that and took some of the fun out of it?" Dipper asked hoping he was wrong. "Correct!" Bill said as he moved me back to my cage. It went the exact same way it did last time, and Dipper was seriously miserable. He then lashed out at Bill with his yellow eyes and actually cut deep. We could see the black blood dripping from it and the meat in his bone. Dipper growled at Bill and took another swipe. Bill was just laughing at Dipper as he made three more swipes. "Pain is hilarious! You are such a naughty cat pine tree, but I'll let it slide this time since you actually had the guts to swipe at me. Well, the creature did," Bill said healing Dipper's wounds. Dipper kept growling until Bill banged on the cage. His eyes snapped back to normal and he held his head like he had a major headache. "You're getting more cat-like by the hour, soon there will be no difference between you and the creature that lurks just beyond the forest of memories in your mind," Bill said floating into the doorway. We all then went to sleep since it was late.
