Alone

Kylah's POV

I hit the ground hard. I looked up to the spot I had fallen from.

*Where's the spot I fell through?* I wondered, looking around. 

I got up and brushed myself off. 

"Hello?" I whispered, hoping someone would hear me. 

The only response was a sickening laugh coming from behind me.

I turned around and looked straight into the blood red eyes of something.

I screamed, and ran. I hit a wall, and fell to the ground. I got up and quickly searched the room.

"A staircase!!!!!!" I screamed, and ran up them to a door. 

It was locked, and the thing was right behind me. 

I banged on the door, and I kicked at it, hoping that Kaylie would hear me and come to my rescue.

Kaylie's POV

I sank to the floor and cried. My best friend was gone, and I had no idea if she was even alive.

How had we gotten here? Why were we sent here? What did we do to deserve this?

Hours after I'd been crying, I stopped, and I heard a sound from a different room. I ran at the door that was locked, and I hoped it would break down. No such luck. I hit the ground hard. 

"Ow, goddamn!" I said, annoyed at my stupidity. 

Then i had an idea. I pulled a bobby pin from my hair, and shoved it into the keyhole. 

Eventually, I unlocked the door, and I ran through to the other side of the room.

The sound i heard was the sound of a door being kicked over and over again. I screamed, not knowing what it was, and then I heard someone else scream.

Kylahs POV

"Kaylie!!! KAYLIE!!!!!!!!" I screamed, but she had ran away. The thing was right behind me now. I closed my eyes and prepared for death.

Kaylies POV

I ran from the room. But I stopped when i heard my name. It was Kylah!

I went back to the room and unlocked the door she was kicking. I saw her sitting on the stairs.

"Kylah! Im here!" I said, as she looked up at me gratefully. She stood up and ran into the room with me.

"Thank GOD! That demon almost killed me!" She said, as her eyes flashed, and I thought they had changed colour. But I guessed it was only because I was so shaken up. She sat down and smiled at me. 

We were safe.

Sorry for the small chapters, and for not writing very often. I promise to write more often, i'll have a new chapter at LEAST once a month. 

Also, Love At First Sight is on hold, and unpublished. I am re-writing it in a different way, so that it is more appropriate. Thanks for understanding!!
