With thoughts running through my head and I growled in frustration and tucked back a loose strand of my hair behind my ear. I kept walking on a dirt path, rubbing my arms to cause heated frictional between the cold air. I realized I was walking through the woods and I lost my path. I looked around at my surroundings, the sky getting darker. Then, a sudden crack happened from afar.
I whipped my body around, panicking. It sounded like a tree branch but more like a bone cracking. My heart was beating fast, my breathing getting shaky and shallowly. I resumed walking in a quicker pace, looking back to make sure I wasn't being followed by anything. Not till my face smacked into a hard chest.
I fell on my back, groaning. My vision blurred to which I was only to see glowing blue eyes staring down at me. I finally managed to get up and try to run and scream, yet my arms were pulled back, as was my mouth covered. Heavy breathing shivered down my spine, and I felt myself being pulled back against a tree.
I then, was spun around to face Hunter.
Hunter!" I exclaimed. I wrapped my arms around him and he did the same. I pulled away from his grasp and looked at him. "You need to leave." "I know, I just got lost." He stood there, quiet for a moment before taking my hand. He started to leading me somewhere and I followed.
I whined slightly with him dragging me, and we stopped at a large oak tree. Hunter let go of my hand and looked at me. "Climb up." I stared at him to see if he was joking. "So you can see where your house is." he added with a smile. I relaxed and sighed softly. "I thought you were going to leave me." I said worryingly.
He just kept smiling and slowly moved close to me. "You're a bit close." I whispered, my cheeks heating up. "I know." He grinned and his eyes flickered down to my lips for a second. He was right in front of me, but not touching. I was trapped. Some spell kept my eyes and body in lock.
A slow smile appeared our of nowhere and creeped up on my face. "You gonna do something, or just stand there?" I thought he'd move away. Break the spell. He didn't.
Just when he about to move to do either or, a howl sounded and Hunter's head snapped at that direction. In one quick move, before I was able to stop him, he grabbed my waist and lifted me up to the tree. I yelped when he did and clutched closely to the tree, as I looked down at him. "Hunter!!" I yelled.
He winked.
"Stay there and be quiet." "No, we should run for our lives. I down want to be eaten up by a wild animal." I argued. "Stay put," He said and ran off to the direction of the distance howl. I groaned and looked around to see where my house was. It was at the east far. A smile returned on my face and I slowly climbed down slowly down the tree. Once I got to the ground, I stick my tongue out at where Hunter ran and walked away.
It wasn't long till I was out of the clearing from the woods. I was starting to run to it, yet was only stopped at the sound of a vicious snark behind me. I turned around to see a big animal. It's red eyes piercing into my eyes and I stood in fear, a whimper came out of me.
It was the same wolf I seen last night. Now it's right in front of me.
