*Third Person*
I was told when I get older all my fears would shrink,
But now I'm insecure and I care what people think."Come on Kali, lighten up! You are the one who wanted to come to the party in the first place, don't you even know what happens after parties are over?" Zayn said trying to pull her closer to him.
"Not having sex the third time we hang out!" Kali screamed as she shrugged him off and quickly got out of the car and slammed the door.
Zayn hit the steering wheel with his fist. He started to roll down the window.
"Get back in the car, I'll take you home." He sighed in defeat.
"I can walk home." Kali said nonchalantly. She didn't want to get back in the car with that pig. He was always trying to get into others girls pants. But not this girl's.
Kali has always been a modest person. She did like a party or two and she loved the idea of having a boyfriend, but never had anything serious. Zayn was the most serious thing she ever had and they have hung out three times. But this would be the last time for her.
"You can't just walk home alone, it's too late at night and it would take you forever to get there." He said with annoyance. "I know you're mad at me but I still need to know you're safe."
It would take a long time to walk to her house and it was already 2 a.m., but she couldn't stand the thought of getting back in the car with that slob.
"I can call you if I need you." She lied with a smile.
He just rolled his eyes and then a slow smirk began to show.
"You know that the boy is out there..waiting." Zayn said making a chill run down Kali's back.
"That's just a stupid joke that everyone talks about." Kali said nervously.
Zayn kept a smile on his face and he shook his head. "I'm not waiting forever, you're either riding with me or walking."
"Isn't the answer obvious." She barked.
Zayn shook his head as he rolled the window up and sped off.
Kali began walking down the long road. She wasn't the type to get scared easily but something made her stomach twist and turn.
'The boy is out there..waiting.'
She remembers everyone talking about him. She never took any interest in listening, deciding that finishing up homework in class was a much better choice.
But now she had a feeling, a really harsh feeling. Kali felt a horrible migraine beginning to form. She had medicine in her purse but that was left in her room not wanting to chance it being stolen at the party.
The migraine was growing rapidly. It felt like a hammer pounding from the inside trying to pound it's way out. It felt like bombs quickly exploding in different directions in her mind.
Then she started hearing them. The voices.
'Get out while you can.'
'Run you silly girl, run!'
The voices were getting louder and louder. They started saying hurtful and cruel things and wouldn't stop.
'You can't get out now, you were too stupid to see the signs, now you'll be nothing like the rest of them.'
"Stop! Get out of my head!" She screamed hitting her head with her palms.
'You'll never leave, you'll never be free, you will be a scared insecure little girl with no one to turn to.'
Kali fell to her knees from the pain. It was becoming unbearable and made her feel so sick and nauseous.
"Please, I'm begging! Stop!"
All of a sudden, it all stopped. The migraine, the voices, the sickness.
She breathed heavily as she rubbed her temples. Her head felt better but the sick feeling wasn't completely gone, probably just from trying to comprehend what happened.
She slowly stood up and tried to balance. She had no clue what was going on. Kali looked around to see if anyone was with her. But of course she saw no one.
But on the edge of the woods next to the road, a boy was out there..waiting.
