Weep not for Memories

Through the thick soil of hate
Two flowers bloomed only to meet a terrible fate
The bond between them was strong
But so was the pain that had built up for so long
And yet despite this display of cruelty
Hope and love shone through the facade in the form of loyalty
As one protected the other to the grave
But yet no one knows the gift the other gave

These words are ones I left unspoken between those I have encountered so far except for Ciel and I. It is of high importance that Ciel knows my past for he is the head of the family, even though things are far more complicated now that I back. Already in the short time I have been back I have met so many people with so many different perspectives and views. It's like a rainbow of personalities. I am at awe on how bleak Ciel seems to be compared to everyone else. For example, earlier today I met Ciel's fiancé, Elizabeth Cordelia Midford or Lizzy, who is so cheerful and outgoing it's kind of annoying. I was also introduced to the rest of the staff of my manor and two Indian gentlemen with the names of Agni and Soma. Ciel had later informed me that tomorrow we will having dinner with a man named Lao.

I'm overjoyed that I get to live in a world of such variety and color. But I can't help but have a nagging feeling of loneliness even with so many new friends surrounding me. I want more. I don't like loneliness. Even so, I have made myself back at home in the manor's library. Ciel and Sebastian have unexpectedly barged on me many of times whilst I was busy in my reading. Yesterday, Sebastian even started a conversation with me while he was cleaning. But before he left, I ordered him to make me a parfait for a snack while I was reading. Well, that's enough summary for now. It's time to live my life. I woke up to Sebastian pulling the curtains back in my room to flood it with light. I sprung up into a sitting position and smiled cheerfully up at Sebastian. "Good Morning!" I shouted up to him, my smile turning into a snarling smirk.

"Why good morning, Milady. You're always a cheerful one in the morning, aren't you?" He smiled back at me and gave a little chuckle at the mess I managed to make of my hair during the night. Only when he turned to hand me my tea did he regard my vicious look. He then looked down to notice what he was doing wrong. He had mistaken my favorite hand sewn plush for the bed covers. He immediately bent down to pick it up when he noticed who it was a plush of. "My greatest apologies, Milady, but I must compliment your work on making this doll. Your stitching is quite good and it looks very much like the Young Master." With those words said and my face being a now bright red, I snatched the plush from him and cuddled it tightly. Then I looked up at him and whammed my pillow into his face, causing feathers to fly everywhere. The pillow slowly fell to the fell to reveal a shocked look on Sebastian's face as he stared at me. "My, my~ It seems like someone has quite a huge temper for such a small size." He chuckled.

At this remark of his, I snapped. "Sebastian Michaelis! As Mistress of the Phantomhive manor and relation of Ciel Phantomhive, I order you to bow before me now!" I yelled as loud as I could. My face was clearly red with anger.

"Yes, Milady." Sebastian bowed as low as he could. I then promptly smashed my foot into his shoulder. At that moment, Ciel burst end through the door with his jaw dropped. He looked at the sight with admiration and envy.

"Clarith, what in the world...."

"Ciel shut your mouth! I have some business with this disobedient runt of yours that you have the gall to call a butler!" I snapped at him. I was clearly in a very prissy mood after being treated in such an awful manner first thing in the morning. "Now I hope you understand just how much I don't tolerate being treating like a child! I am 127 years old so respect me as such. Also, I would prefer if you address me as princess from now on. Got it, you dog?!?" I ground foot harder into Sebastian's shoulder.

"Yes, my princess."

"Good. Now get out and make me brioche with a caramel glaze and a side parfait!"

"Right away, my princess." With that, Sebastian left the room, leaving Ciel to stare at me with confusion and admiration painted on his face.

"What?" I gave him my ticked off look because he was kind of making me feel uncomfortable.

"No-Nothing. I'm just amazed at how someone other than me was able to straighten Sebastian out. More importantly, offend him like that in front of me. I have never done that to Sebastian nor have I seen anyone do that to him other then you. You do know that he is a demon, right?"

"Of course I do! What idiot wouldn't?!? A mortal maybe, but certainly not someone like me! I'm one of the best immortal species out there! Want to know how I know that? It's simply because I'm the first of my species to ever exist! Also I have the knowledge and capability of a demon, the gift of death of a reaper, the purity of an angel and so much more! Also, I don't have to use my true form to fly. I can produce my wings at any given moment at my will." I lectured Ciel through and through.

"Just a question, what are you, exactly?" Ciel gave me an interested look.

"I made up the name myself since nobody has ever encountered a being such as me before. Nor has there been a being like me before so it's all on me. I'm a wondering soul. My soul is loosely attached to my body and merged with Lent's, thus making it stronger and more capable then human souls. That also means I am capable of performing ancient demon slaying magic if needed. The core spell of this magic is called Soul Resound. During Soul Resound, the wavelengths of energy produced by the soul are increased tenfold, thus attracting demons like a magnet but the closer they get, the more damage the soul can do to them."

"Have you ever used Soul Resound?"

"No."

"May I see it?"

"Are you willing to rid the world of Sebastian Michealis?"

"No!"

"Then you may not see." Suddenly, Sebastian then came into the room with my brioche and parfait.

"Your breakfast, my princess."

"Thank you very much. Now that my breakfast has arrived, I think it's time to wrap up our little lesson of ours. I'll talk to you more after I'm finished getting ready. Until then, both of you, out!" With that, both Ciel and Sebastian promptly left the room, leaving me to enjoy my breakfast.
