Tobin's P.O.V.
"Tobin, you have mail!" My mom shouted. I walk into the kitchen and grab the envelope. It's from UNC. It's now or never, I get in or I don't. I rip on the letter and start reading.
Dear Tobin Heath,
Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla you got accepted into the University of North Carolina.
"I MADE IT!" I Scream. I call Kelley, my friend since we were young and she picks up on the first ring.
"I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!" we both say.
"OK YOU FIRST!" we say at the same time once again.
"I GOT ACCEPTED INTO UNC!"I shout before she has the chance.
"No way! so did I!" she tells me.
"Oh my god were going to the same school! I hope we get to room together!" I say.
"I have to go. My family and I are going to the beach"
"Ok. Have fun, Kel. Bye." I say
"Bye, Tobs." I ended the call
Alex's P.O.V.
I see a letter hanging out of the mailbox as I walk home from the gym, and me being the person I am, I decide to open it.
It's from UNC my dream school. I've been wanting to go there since I was 9. I text my friend Ali and ask her where she want to go.
Alex: Hey Ali. guess what?
She responds after a minute
Ali: What?
Alex: I'M GOING TO UNC!!!
Ali: You're kidding right?
Alex: Nope :)
Ali: I'm going to UNC too!
Alex: OMG
Ali: I can't believe we're going to the same school.
"Alex, we're going out to eat to celebrate. Go get ready." I hear my mom yell.
"Okay."
Alex: Me neither! I gtg bye.
Ali: Bya.
I put my phone away and go upstairs to pick out my clothes. I look through my closet until I find a dark navy blue dress shirt and white skinny jeans. I end up wearing a gold necklace with a ring on it and black sandals. I leave my hair down but brush it a little and put in a gold headband that matches my necklace. By the time I get downstairs everyone is all ready to go. We end up going to a small place down the street and it's surprisingly some of the best food I've had.
Carli's P.O.V
As I walk into my house I see that my family is all sitting at the table.
"Carli, we have some really good news." my dad says excitingly.
"What is it?" I ask
"You got accepted to go to UNC"
"OH MY GOD I HAVE TO TELL HOPE!" my phone is broken so I grab my jacket and head out the door. I end up sprinting to her house and when I get to her door I knock several times. Then more then even more. Let's just say I knock until she answers.
"What do y- oh hey whats up Carls?" She says.
"I GOT ACCEPTED TO GO TO UNC!"
"SO DID I, You aren't lying right?" She asks
"Nope!" I say barely containing my excitement. I tackle her in a hug and amazingly she catches me. AND doesn't fall over.
"I'm so excited." I tell her.
"I'm can tell."
That was chapter number uno. Yay Spanglish.
