Tobin's POV
As I sit down on the plane I notice a girl about who looks a little younger than me walk towards the seat next to me. I take a closer look at her and I see that she has waist length black hair with red streaks, bright green eyes, tan skin, and freckles. She was cute. She sits down in the eat next to me and smiles.
"Hey I'm Thalia" she says.
"Tobin" I say back.
" What are you gonna do in North Carolina?" She asks.
"Oh I'm going to UNC" I tell her.
"No way! Me too!" She bounces in her seat and I laugh.
"Ok wanna do 20 questions?" I ask.
"Why not, Favorite color?"
"Blue, you?" I say.
"Red" she answers
"Nicknames?"
"People call me jedi" she tells me. I give her a questioning look. "I'll tell you later"
"People usually call me tobin, tobs, and unfortunately toby um sports?" I ask.
"Soccer" she says smiling.
"Same" I respond.
We jeep asking questions until the flight us over and we walk to the campus together.
"Can I have your number?" she asks.
" Yeah sure" she gives me her phone and I enter my number then I give her my phone and she does the same.
"I'm gonna go to my room" I tell her.
"Ok I'll see you around" she says.
"Yup"
I walk off to the bug building and look around to see where my room is and I see a girl around my age walk up to me.
"Need some help?" She asks me.
"Uh yeah" I say. "I have no idea where my room is"
"What's your room number?"
"317" I tell her.
"Cool your right next to me " she says. "And by the way I'm Ashlyn but you can call me ash.
I smile as she leads me to a door that say 317.
"Thanks ash" I say.
"No problamo, and I didn't get your name" she tells me.
"Oh yeah sorry, my names tobin, but you can call me tobs"
We exchange numbers and goodbyes and I walk into my room. I sit down on a bed and throw my stuff down on the floor next to it.
"Wow o feel bad for your poor suitcase" I hear someone say. The voice sounds familiar and I look towards the door. It's the girl from the plane. Thalia.
"No way"
"Yes way" she says. "I guess I'll take this bed" she falls backwards on the bed and just closes her eyes. I take out a soccer ball and put it down at my feet.
"Wanna go play some soccer?" I ask. She opens her eyes.
"Sure"
"We head down to the fields and we see some other girls. We start playing and I notice that the group of girls are walking towards us.
"Hey do you guys wanna play together? we don't have a ball." The one in front says. I look at Thalia and she shrugs.
"Sure, I'm Thalia but you can call me jedi and this is tobs." She says.
"I'm abby, this is hope, carli, christie, shannon, lori, and becky. We're on the soccer team." The girl abby says.
"Cool, let's get the game going"
Thalia was on my team and we were unstoppable. Together we scored 4 goals. Our team won and the older girls came over to us.
"You guys are amazing, can't wait to have you on the team" The girl christie says.
"Thanks, jedi and I have to go back to our room" I tell them.
"Ok nice playing with you" they say. Carli kicks my ball towards us and she traps it and starts to dribble away. I run infront of her and steal the ball. I started sprinting away with the ball when I feel someone tackle me to the ground. I land on the ground with a "ooof" and I hear the older girls laughing behind us so we keep wrestling for the ball I end up winning and end up with thalia on my back.
"Jediiiiiiii" I wine.
"Off we go horsey" I gallop away from the group of girls shaking there heads and when we get to the room I throw her on her bed.
"Hey" she says. I shrug and get ready for bed.
"G-night jedi" I say.
"Night toby." I glare at her and then drift off to sleep.
