"Who are you?" The girl asked.
Xavier looked into her hazel eyes, intrigued by them, then zipped away quickly.
"No! Wait!" She called running after him.

Stevie tryed to catch him but he was unnaturally fast.
She stopped, out of breath.
Those eyes. His eyes. So dark. But they had a purple tint to them.
He was so silent too. She couldn't even track him. That must mean he's skilled.
But those eyes were filled with something else...suprise?
Not skill.
She sighed and mined the diamond. She collected it and brought out her iron sword, now protective of her find.

Xavier stopped. He turned looking to see if the girl had followed him.
He didn't see her and sighed with relief.
Those eyes...they seemed weirdly familiar...and intriguing.
He wanted to see her again.
He screamed, trying to get her attention. He put his blank expression on and acted cool, waiting.

Stevie heard the scream and ran towards it.
If the boy wasn't skilled, this deep in the cave wasn't where he needed to be.
She seemed like she'd gotten close to the scream.
"Hello?" She called.

Xavier scrapped his arm on a stone and held it tight.
The girl came into view.
She hurried towards him.
"H-Hey, are you ok?"

Stevie cautiously walked towards him, careful not to scare him away again.
Oh those eyes. They held skill...and hurt now.
"Are you hurt?" Stevie asked
"I fine." The boy answered quietly.
Stevie noticed he didn't say I'm or I am and instead he just said I.
"Ok." Stevie answered, "I-I...do you have somewhere to live?" She knew immediately that was a stupid question and blushed.

Xaver was taken off guard at the question. He saw her face become red and he got worried, what was she doing? Was she hot? No, she was...
"No. I no house." He said quickly.

Stevie realized he had a speech impediment. She smiled.
"Ok, come with me." She turned and walked away.
She walked a little bit and realized he wasn't following.
"Are you coming?" She asked.
"Where?" He asked back at her, no trust in his eyes.
His expression was enough to twist her heart, "To...my house." She said quietly.
His gaze softened and he hesitated, but followed.
