Marissa is your average nerd. A combination of brains and beauty. Very smart actually, but not when it comes to relationships. She's the type of girl who is always down to help anyone out with any given problem but finds it hard to help herself.
At school she's in her own little world. The only one who ever notices her there is Jack, and her teachers of course. Jack and Marissa have been close friends for a couple years now. He was the new kid and found it interesting how Marissa was obsessed with superheroes.
One day, he was walking past a bench when he saw her sitting down reading a Batman comic. He decided to approach her and since that day they have become really close friends. Jack always thought it was cool to meet a girl he can talk comics with, and there she was. Marissa Andrews.
