Castiel was a quiet boy. Small and frail, too. He never understood why he never bulked up like the other boys, even Gabriel had gotten some muscle, but not him. Then again, he knew why this didn't happen.

He was too busy watching those boys become musclular and taller, rather than trying himself.

Castiel had always been into the boys. Not once didn't he see the girls the same way. Speaking of the girls, they always complimented him on his skin, how thin he was. He didn't know whether he enjoyed the attention or not.

When he told Naomi about his feelings towards the same sex, she dismissed the thought. It hurt Cas. Even so, he forgave her. She didn't mean to hurt him, just thought differently. Naomi couldn't help it. That's what he always told himself when she complained and yelled.

Keeping a serious face, Castiel never spoke about his feelings again. He would always waking in the night, silently crying as he wondered why Naomi yelled at him but let Gabe go have his fun. It stung. But once again, neither could help it.

These feelings for boys laid dormant for years as Castiel hid them away, but they suddenly errupted. He saw Dean Winchester and he was overflowing with emotions behind his calm, cold facade.

He wondered why it had been this boy, no...man who had changed him. He was in charge of being Dean's tour guide until he got used to the school. Dean seemed like the popular type. Soon Cas would be left behind.

After he waited for Dean to dress, which he took a few peaks at, they walked out of the dormitories and towards the school. It was a quiet walk. One where they could see Sam and Gabe just up ahead.

"It's funny." Dean suddenly spoke, causing Cas to jump. He looked up towards the Winchester, a confused look on his face.

"I don't understand."

"My little brother is taken around by your big brother. We basically swapped siblings, making you my little brother."

"Right. Brothers..." Castiel used his stern look to keep from letting Dean see him shatter. The one guy Cas falls for since puberty and he's a brother to him.

"How does that even work out? We are in the same grade." It was Dean's turn to give the confused look. His hand scratched at his stubble around his mouth.

"Well... My brother lacks intelligence and failed a grade or two while I got bumped up for my knowledge." Castiel explained, not nothing to get into a long version. His voice hurt from the scare the night prior. He watched Dean out of the corner of his eye, taking in his beauty silently.

Luckily for him, the taller male didn't try to keep the conversation going.
